Moving towards a fundamental paradigm shift in leadership and
organizations.
“A stewardship of the living”
You can’t make a shift like this by tweaking. It requires
a whole new mindset.
Five guideposts to the future:
2. Think bigger. A movement of movements.
3. Be bolder! Insist on change…speak with a voice that can be heard.
4. Work on the constraints. Don’t talk about how wonderful Agile is but what practical steps can be taken.
5. Evangelizing the change. Express ourselves with passion!
1. The extent of the challenge we are facing. Recognize the resistance.
It has to be: “$#@#*^%, this idea has to happen! This
firm is going down the drain unless we do something about it!”
It can’t be:We have an interesting idea that leaders
should consider.
“Never doubt that a small group of committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the
only thing that has” – Margaret Mead

How can you and your fellow Scrum Masters revitalize your existing Agile transformation?
What steps can you take to remove the silos and dysfunctions in your organization?
How can you bring more bravery, intensity, and emotion to your Agile transformation or expansion?
20 minute Break-Out (form groups of 5 or 6)
Where are the areas in your organization needingAgile or culture change? Bring your real scenarios. Discuss your situation in your group.
Pick one as a group and simulate becoming a change team or guiding coalition in that environment.
Picture the end result.
At a high level, what real steps could to take to begin to a lightweight framework for your change?
We’ll sync back as a group and share our stories.
Who would like to host and present on May 8th?
Thanks!
