MALABARISTA 2012 TEMPRANILLO AND GARNACHA (VINO DE LA TIERRA DE LAS 3 RIBERAS) TEMPRANILLO 65% GARNACHA 30% CABERNET 5% Malabarista means juggler in Spanish. Spanish winemaking adventurers Ed Adams MW and Bruce Jack have been juggling wine ideas in Spain for many years, and very successfully with their La Báscula range. Malabarista is a juicy and authentic wine from the Navarra region. It consists of 65% Tempranillo, 30% Garnacha and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, which bolsters structure and acidity. The wine is made up of 7 different components – 20% has been aged in American oak barrels and the rest have had some contact with oak staves or chips. The result is a spicy wine with plenty of black berry fruit with attractive vanilla and chocolate notes.
