ACFT without noise certificate according to ICAO Annex 16, Volume I:Take-off and landing of the ACFT are not allowed.ACFT with noise certificate according to ICAO Annex 16, Volume I, Part II,Chapter2:Take-off or landing of the ACFT are not allowed.In accordance with the Directive 2006/93/EC of the European Parliament and ofthe Council, Article 3 Para. 4 Letter a) and b) in the individual cases memberstates may permit the temporary use at APTs situated in their territory by aero-planes that cannot be operated in accordance with instructions above.Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic maygrant exemption in the following cases:a) Aeroplanes which operations are of such an exceptional nature that it would

be unreasonable to withhold a temporary exemption;b) Aeroplanes of non-revenue flights for the purposes of alternations, repair or

maintenance.

1.2.2. PREFERENTIAL RUNWAY SYSTEMRWY 13 and RWY 04 are preferably used for take-off.RWY 22 and RWY 31 are preferably used for landing.For exemptions refer to para. 1.2.6.

1.2.3. NIGHTTIME RESTRICTIONSTake-off from RWY 31 and RWY 22 are not allowed between 2300-0700LT for jetACFT and for prop ACFT with MTOM more than 45t except for safety reasons orcases stated in para. 1.2.6.

1.2.4. RUN-UP TESTSBetween 2300-0700LT run-up tests are allowed only on idle regime.

1.2.5. REVERSE THRUSTBetween 2300-0700LT reverse thrust should only be used on idle regime except forsafety reasons or cases stated in para. 1.2.6.

1.2.6. EXEMPTIONSUsing noise preferential RWYs is not obligatory and restrictions regardingreverse thrust and para. 1.2.3. are not applicable for:- pilot-in-command due to flight safety reason decision;- air traffic controller following provision 7.2.6 of Chapter 7, Doc 4444 (PANS

ATM) or due to operational reason decision;- ACFT in emergency;- rescue flights;- search and rescue flights authorized by a competent SAR body;- flights performed for the transport of constitutional official;- flights of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and of the Armed

Forces of the Slovak Republic, while carrying out their duties;- humanitarian aid flights.

1.2.7. USE OF APUAuxiliary Power Unit (APU) operation is limited to 30 minutes after arrival at thestand and 30 minutes before start up. The APT operator is entitled to apply penal-ties against the ACFT operator in case of non-compliance to the time limit.

LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)Pilots will be informed via ATIS when RWY 31 LVP is in operation.RWY shall be vacated via TWY F only.Pilots shall report RWY vacated when out of ILS protection zone (end of center-line lights coded green/yellow on TWY F).RWY 13/31 is available for take-off when RVR is less than 400m.When RVR is 400m or above any RWY can be used for take-off depending on trafficsituation.When RVR is less than 350m, TWY with serviceable centerline lights is to be usedfor taxiing only.

1.4. TAXI PROCEDURESTaxiing from/to Apron C is allowed when RVR is less than 350m, but not less than200m for critical ACFT type E135 from Main Apron through TWY A, TWY D toApron C and vice versa with the assistance of Follow-me car.Taxiing to parking stands with assistance of Follow-me car or marshaller only.

1.5. PARKING INFORMATIONStand 41 and the Northwestern edge area of apron C usable for daytime opera-tions only.Push-back required for stands 1 thru 4A, 5 and 6 thru 13A. For stand 5X push-backis required for ACFT of bigger categories than CRJ7 to MAX B738W before start-up.TWY B can be used for ACFT parking.From nose-in stands ACFT are pushed back before departure.ACFT with jet engines shall taxi from stands only with reduced engine thrust.Power-back procedures for leaving stand can not be applied.

2.2. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURESAvoid residential areas (refer to 19-1) when performing visual approach.

2.3. CONTINUOUS DESCENT OPERATIONSPilots of jet and turboprop ACFT are requested to perform CDO by planning theirarrival and APCH descent so as to maintain as high level as possible and adopt alow-engine power and low-drag configuration APCH techniques for flying an opti-mum CDO flight profile with minimum flap setting for requested speed andavoiding early landing gear extension whenever practicable, provided that this isconsistent with ATC requirements and safe operation of the ACFT to fly stabi-lized APCH.When under vectoring ATC will provide the pilots with an estimate of the flightdistance to the RWY threshold - distance-to-go information ("TRACK-MILES"), toallow pilots to manage descent with a rate they judge best suited to achieve CDOwithout using more power or drag than necessary. The objective will be to jointhe glide path at the appropriate level for the actual distance to the RWY thresh-old with a minimum of level flight segments. Pilots who require additional trackmileage should inform ATC as soon as the requirement is apparent.

2.4. CAT II/III OPERATIONSRWY 31 approved for CAT II/III operations, special aircrew and ACFT certifica-tion required.

3.1. DE-ICING/ANTI-ICING3.1.1. GENERAL

Standard de-icing/anti-icing means treatment of:- Wing upper surfaces;- Fuselage upper surface;- Vertical or horizontal stabilizer;while none of the surfaces is higher than 12m. It is provided for the purpose ofconducting of flight.Non-standard de-icing/anti-icing means treatment of:- Wing lower surfaces;- Fuselage upper surface;- ACFT undercarriage;- Engine blades or propellers;- Any de-icing at heights above 12m.Non-standard de-icing/anti-icing is provided with engines turned-off only.

3.1.2. DE-ICING/ANTI-ICING AREASDe-icing/anti-icing stand is at the north-eastern end of Apron and marked by day-use markings as stand number 21. For de-icing position refer to 10-9A chart.ACFT with jet engines and propeller-driven ACFT with serviceable propeller-brake must be provided at de-icing/anti-icing stand. De-icing/anti-icing of General aviation ACFT, of propeller-driven ACFT withoutserviceable propeller-brake is provided directly on parking stand.

3.1.3. DE-ICING/ANTI-ICINGACFT crew shall report flight number or registration mark, ACFT type and standand requested de-icing/anti-icing category to Operations Control Department atleast 15 minutes prior to EOBT.Request for purposes other than conducting of flight must be delivered to Opera-tions Control Department at least 30 minutes before requested de-icing/anti-icing time.Later de-icing/anti-icing request will be accepted but can cause a delay.Precise instructions for de-icing/anti-icing must be handed by ACFT captain tothe trained employee of the de-icing/anti-icing provider only in written from, byfilling out the de-icing/anti-icing request.ACFT crew shall report request for de-icing/anti-icing to ATC when requestingengine start-up and/or push-back. ATC will direct the ACFT to de-icing/anti-icingstand. Taxiing to stand by Follow-me car only.De-icing/anti-icing at de-icing stand is provided with engines running.

3.2. START-UPPilots who are asking solely for ATC clearance but not yet ready for start-up shalladvise ATC until explicitly stating the expecting start-up time. Due to opera-tional reasons the SSR code can be issued only together with start-up clearance.

3.3. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURESFor additional depiction refer to 10-4.It is recommended to perform take-off with applying the run.After take-off keep the maximum climb gradient considering flight safety.

- Up to 2000' - Take-off thrust;- Climb at V2 + 10 to 20 KT (or as limited by body angle);- Appropriate flap setting;

- Up to 3500' - Climb thrust;- Climb at V2 + 10 to 20 KT;- Maintain previous flap setting;

- Above 3500' - Retract flaps on schedule;- Enroute climb configuration;

- Up to 10,000’ - MAX 250 KT or by ATC.
