Government Computer News (GCN) reported that after reviewing the HP Z400 Workstation on behalf of GCN’s 90,000 government IT subscribers, the GCN Lab decided to award it a Product of the Year award for 2009. Of the 300+ products reviewed by the lab this year, only eight were awarded this honor. GCN reported that with their benchmark PassMark Performance Test software, Version 7.0, that the HP Z400 score was impressive—1311.9, which is higher than the fastest dual-core system reviewed for their April 20 issue.
