Leq’á:mel First Nation Invites you to join us on

May 14, 2013

Since time immemorial, our people honoured the salmon each year by holding

a salmon ceremony to respect the gift that the salmon provides to us and to

ensure a good run.

This will be our very first ever first salmon ceremony that anyone can recall.

The purpose behind the ceremony will be explained and individuals will be

asked to help out with the work in order to begin passing down this valuable

traditional practice.

Please help make this a memorable event. Starts at 5 p.m at the

Leq’a:mel Gymnasium—43101 Leq’a:mel Way.
