GraduationEarning a degree takes dedication and sacrifice and LAFS is proud of each of our graduates. In honor
of their achievements, we host a graduation ceremony at the film school every month so every
graduate will be able to share their accomplishments with their colleagues, teachers, family and
friends. It is an uplifting way to start the transition from student to alumni.
Alumni Association Graduation is just the first step. We are all on a path to somewhere and the definition of success
is different for everyone. Some graduates won’t be happy until they have that VGA®, Emmy®,
Grammy® or Oscar® in their hands. Others want to start their own independent company in their
hometown. The paths are different, but the goal is the same: wake up every day to do something
you’re passionate about. You’ve begun a journey to change your life. There may be many miles to go
and who knows how many paths to your dream- but life after film school is just the beginning.
Game FairGames are meant to be played, so The Los Angeles Film School regularly hosts Game
Fairs to showcase our students’ creations. Attendees are given the chance to experience
the unique gameplay designed by students and alumni of The Los Angeles Film School,
