Victor raised $5,000 on Kiva Zip to open his first coffee shop in the Mission. He was endorsed by the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA)

After he repaid his first loan, he then raised $10,000 to start his second coffee shop

Victor became a Trustee and endorsed 5 entrepreneurs in the Mission

Kiva Zip funneled $54,000 of capital to Victor and his community, funded by over 600 lenders around the country

Toni and Sheila are a mother-daughter combo with a cookie store in the Fillmore. They were endorsed by Urban Solutions that supports entrepreneurs in the Western Addition

Upon his release, he started a non profit that aims to provide resources and support to others upon their release from prison

Anna owns a peroshki business in Bernal Heights and used a $5,000 loan to purchase a used van so she could cater events. She was co-endorsed by Centro Community Partners and La Cocina

She repaid her first loan and then applied for a $25,000 loan to open her first storefront in the Haight

Her $25,000 loan was funded in 5 weeks by 497 lenders
