Registration rules in Traditional Kempo One name can appear only in one team/category

(Exemple: one male can appear only in one male team and only in one mixed team); The age of defender (uke) decides the age of category;

FIGHTING KEMPO

Divisions/Rules/Events Semi-Kempo (stand-up fighting/touchpoint system); Submission (throws,immobilizations, locks / no strikes is allowed); Knockdown Kempo (punches only to the body,throws,immobilizations, locks); Full-Kempo (full-contact stand-up fighting, throws and groundfighting without

strikes in ground; boxing gloves); for kids under 14 years old, will be organizedKempo Kick division.

GENERAL RULES OF ORGANIZING

REFEREES & JUDGES- In order to act as an referee in the IKF competitions your candidate must be

licensed and authorized by the IKF, after attending the official referees course.

KEMPO UNIFORM

- WHITE PANTS, BLACK GI JACKET, RED BELTJust when on the blue corner competitors will wear blue belts. During the whole event(opening ceremony, staying and waiting their turn, competing, being awarded ....), allthe competitors must wear the official IKF kimono. On the Gi jacket and on the pantscan be posted the patch/logo of the national organization, stripes with the national flagcolours or/and the IKF patch without any restrictions.

Note: Absolutely ALL COMPETITORS must come at the weigh check-in and must stayin the line at the opening ceremony wearing official IKF uniform required. Eachcompetitor will be registered in the competition just by presenting at the weigh check-inhis own kimono very clean and in a very good shape, including also his own red beltand blue belt. All competitors must take care of their hygiene by having nails shortcutted, clean body and no piercings. No competitor will be allowed to register withouthaving his own uniforms. No teams will be registered without presenting protectiveequipments for at least half of the team..

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT1. The Organizer will provide NO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTS.2. Each team must provide obligatory for their athletes:- Red belts, blue belts- Boxing gloves 8 oz., Red/Blue (Semi-Kempo and Full-Kempo)- MMA gloves red/blue 6 o.z. for Knockdown- Shinguards (mandatory in Semi, Full and Knockdown)- Mouthguard (mandatory in all rules where is no mask headgear).- Headgear Red/Blue, without mask (mandatory for “over 14” years old).- Headgear red/blue with plastic mask (mandatory for “under 16” years old).- Body protections (vests) for “under 16”.- Groin protection for men “+16 y.o.” (mandatory in Semi, Full and Knockdown).- Chest protection for women (mandatory in Semi, Full and Knockdown).

Attention!!!: All the equipments must be provided by any supplier company but it isobligatory to follow very strictly the general lines of models presented in annexures.
