This presentation is going to be about infinitives and gerunds. The learner will learn their definitions, how they are used and when they can be used.

An infinitive is to + the verb (base form)

Examples:

To eat

To run

To walk

GERUNDS

A gerund (-ing) is a noun made from a verb. To form a gerund add –ing to the base form of the verb

Examples:

Kissing

Hugging

Looking
