FTTx ARCHITECTURE
The Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is the device that is responsible for delivering the services contrac-ted to the operator by the user. The range of terminals is based on installation criteria and the type of services implemented; Thus, Televés has up to 4 ranges of ONT (Basic, Standard, Office and Home).The network topologies where the ONT are applicable
are called FTTx: Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), Fiber-to-the-Building (FTTB), Fiber-to- -the-Curb (FTTC), etc.Compatible with ITUG.984.x, multiple-play signals provi-sioned in the FibreData headend, such as High Speed Internet (HSI), VoIP, WiFi, IPTV and / or RF Overlay, etc. are available on the ONT connections.

• ONT BASIC is a “bridge” device where a simple media con-version is performed. It is the ideal solution in environments where network management is performed on the LAN.
• ONT STANDARD adds to the ONT BASIC RF Overlay reception. This is the solution where the device delivers the services to a sub-header (FTTC / FTTB).
• ONT OFFICE has GbE ports as well as WiFi interface. It is the-refore a device that can provide direct service to a number of users. One of the references of this range incorporates 802.11ac.
• ONT HOME adds the TV signal to the performance of an ONT OFFICE. One of the references of this range incorporates 802.11ac.
