POLAND - The Peace Race or Tour the Pologne

Tour the POLOGNE a shape of POLAND you can paint some spots for towns and children will join the towns with roads of their own - with chalk, or they can move along the border line

The gameWe are bringing some counters for the play.

draw a track - double line about 6 cm wide - bends and narrower places make the track more difficultprepare some beer caps - fill with some plasticine / it can’t be too heavy/ , paint, decoratefind at lest one partner - or you can play alone with two caps / be honest! /draw a start and finish line, place the cap on start and FLICK!You can decide with other players if you go one flick at a time or three flicks eachThe one that is the first at the finish line wins!Your cap cannot leave the track - it must at least touch the line.If it does leave, the player must START OVER from the beginning. You may however draw some lines to be the places to start over in case the cap leaves the track.

Turkey – The circles

There are circles drawn just one more than the students (for example 5 students 4 circles) then, the music starts and the students will be running till the music is stopped by someone. The student who can not get a circle loses the game.

Romania - Race numbers (Cursa pe numere) We draw three lines at equal distances.

Page 6: Games on the ground comenius brochure

Students are divided into two equal teams. The teams will line up in front of the lines from the sidelines. Each child receives a number. Thus each student will have a correspondent in the opponent. On line drawn midway between the two teams a ball is placed.Teacher will call a number (of those worn by children). When they hear their number, both children will run to the middle line and will try to pick up the ball. The first child who lifts the ball, scores a point for his/her team .Finally, include the points and declare the winning team.

We can make the game a more European one. We draw and colour the flags of our partner countries on the ground. The teacher calls a country and a number. The children from both teams run to be on the right flag. If they stop on the correct flag they are declared winners.
