One of our amazing volunteers picked him up, took him to the vet, and he has since made AMAZING progress. At first he was very shy who could blame him? and could barely walk from being in so much pain. Slowly but surely he came out of his shell thanks to tons of patience and TLC from his foster family, and now we are thrilled to report that Jasper's wounds have healed and he is ready to find his forever family! We are confident his journey ahead will be nothing but positive. Jasper is about a year or a year and a half and is in good health. He has been fully vaccinated, heartworm tested (Negative), dewormed, neutered, microchipped, and placed on heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Lenny came from a small county shelter. He was up foreuthanasia but the staff just couldn't bear the thought ofletting him meet that fate. They described him as one of thebest dogs that had come through the shelter, and wecouldn't agree more! Lenny is a VERY stocky 61lbs, but hasno idea that he is as big as he is. He LOVES people andother dogs. The cats that he has come in contact with hadto put up with big, slobbery kisses. Lenny would do a best ina home without small children and a dog who would enjoyhis exuberance! Lenny has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (Negative), and is currenton heartworm/flea/tick preventative.

Zeb came to us as a stray at only 12 weeks oldand full of internal parasites. He is now 7 monthsold, competely healthy, and thriving in his fosterhome. He loves playing ball is getting better atwalking on a leash. According to his foster mom,"Zeb loves for humans to scratch his belly andbehind his ears! He is crate trained and wellbehaved, and refrains from jumping on humans!"He's good with other dogs, but would probably dobetter if he was an only fur child. Zeb has beenfully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (Negative), and is current onheartworm/flea/tick preventative.

Gage had been turned into animal control with another dog andwhen their time was up, one of our volunteers couldn't stand tosee them euthanized. The other dog (Solomon) has since founda wonderful home and now Gage is more than ready for his!Gage is a blast to play fetch with he LOVES it. He is a veryathletic dog that needs physical expenditure every day, but oncehe gets that, loves to snuggle on the couch. Think of him like ayoung 20something human guy! He gets along well with otherdogs that enjoy to play as much as he does. We wouldrecommend a nondominant male or a female for a healthydynamic. Gage is about 2 yearsold and a stocky 40lbs. He hasbeen neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and is current onheartworm/flea/tick preventative.

When found, Valentine (above) was ahighly pregnant stray, looking for food in adumpster in the pouring rain! She wascovered in grease, nothing but skin andbones, and ready to have her babies anyday. Despite the fact she was trapped andgiven a bath, as soon as we got her homeall she did was purr!! She was so happy tobe warm and clean! She is over a year oldand is a petite little lady. She probablyhasn't been treated very well in the past,so she tends to be very quiet. She LOVESbelly rubs once she feels safe and willdirect your hand with her paw as to whereshe wants to be scratched next. She is avery easy kitty and would be great in mosthomes.

Hurricane (below) and her siblings were foundoutside by a nice lady who took them to the vetbecause they were very sick. They were treatedand are now up for adoption! Now about 3months old, she will probably be mediumhairedsince her mom was a mainecoon. She is still alittle nervous after growing up outside, but sheloves being petted once she's comfortable. Sheis also starting to come out of her shell and playa bit! She can't resist the feather toy. She looksjust like her momma, especially her cute littleface, and she even has little ear tips like amainecoon. Her fur probably wont be as longand fluffy, since she is a mix. She is great withother cats and is ready to find the forever homeshe deserves!

Say hello to Donnie! Donnie is a seven month old, delightful kitten who was seriously ill when wefound him. Now he is neutered, vaccinated, andready to be adopted. His coat is medium, lustrous, and he has a little mane. He is playful, cuddly andamusing. While he is very hard of hearing andperhaps even deaf, it doesn't seem to bother himin the least.
