This feature,available on some zero-cross controllersproduced by Control Concepts, reduces thepossibility of synchronous operation of two ormore controllers. It reduces the variations inpower demand resulting in a more stablesupply voltage and improved power factor. .The SYNC-GUARD™ feature can significantlyreduce the peak current required from asource that is connected to multiple powercontrollers while all are zero cross firing.
