En aquel tiempo, viendo Jesús a las muchedumbres, subió a un monte y, habiéndose sentado, se acercaron a El sus discípulos. Abriendo entonces su boca, les enseñó, diciendo: Bienaventurados los pobres de espíritu, porque de ellos es el reino de los cielos. Bienaventurados los mansos, porque ellos poseerán la tierra.
