Your Local Area Coordinator and the NDIS
Starting your plan
It can be hard to know how to start your
NDIS plan.
Your Local Area Coordinator will help you.
Your Local Area Coordinator is called an
LAC for short.
Your LAC can help you set up My Place.
Starting your plan
Your LAC can help you
My Place is a website that shows you
• your plan
• your support
• how much NDIS money you have
My Plan
Your LAC is here to help you find services
and get support.
They can help you make Service
Agreements.
A Service Agreement says what supports
an organisation will give you.
They can help you make Service Bookings
on My Place
Service Bookings show you when you will
get support and who will give you support.
More help from your LAC
Your LAC can also link to groups and activities in your community.
Service Agreement
You can talk to your LAC if you want to change
your plan.
Your LAC will check if you are happy with your plan
about every 3 months.
They will help you make new goals for your next plan.
They are the first person you should call if you have a
problem with your plan.
