Your planning meeting is with your
Local Area Coordinator.
They are called an LAC for short.
You can take family, friends or someone
you trust to the meeting.
Your meeting will go for 1 to 2 hours.
Your LAC will ask you about
• your goals
• support you have now
• support you need to get your goals
Your LAC will listen to you and write your
answers on their computer.
You can ask them any questions.
Your LAC will send your answers to the NDIS.
The NDIS will make your plan.
Your planning meeting
The NDIS will send you your plan.
The plan will tell you
• what support you have
• how much money you have for support
If you are not happy with the plan tell your
LAC and they can help you.
