Evaluation The name Happy gum was always the name of our product because it’s quick and easy and was very easy to work with, it never changed it was always happy gum. In my group was Charlie and we had to go out and film an advert to promote our gum. The filming didn’t go as well as it could have done. We mucked around too much and did not spend enough time on filming, we filmed one piece and the lighting was not great so it took time in the editing process to match shots. The final product was not what I expected it to be however it still worked and the song went well, the song was Bobby McFerrin Don’t Worry be Happy. Before the song faded we added the sound of someone chewing and that went well. We did all of that on premiere pro. Then we used Microsoft PowerPoint to make our presentation to show the class to help explain it a little better.

The strengths of our presentation was that the information was good and the pictures were quite good and worked with what we were saying to the class.

Strengths of the advert were it worked well and didn’t look to bad. The colours we used for the packaging were bright and colourful which matched the name of our product and would attract our target audience.

The weakness of the advert was there was not enough different clips, there was only one clip and I needed some more time to get some more clips and make it better. The weakness of the presentation was that we didn’t put a lot of detail into the presentation. I could have been better however I was still happy with it.

If I was to do this again I would plan and use a production schedule to use my time better. I would also film extra scenes for my advert to attract a larger audience.
