Performs necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment. Maintains and repairs all racking systems and safety systems including performing of audits.

Analyzes, diagnoses, and trouble shoots problems, determines the extent of, and makes repairs. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.

Operates drill press, lathe, milling machine, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding. Operates mig, tig, and arc welding equipment.

Fits black iron pipe, copper pipe, and tubing includes cutting, threading, and soldering while working from scissor lifts, ladders, catwalks, or in confined spaces.

STATUS: Exempt, Full-time The Senior Plant Controller serves as the finance business partner for the Plant Management team. The role includes overall ownership for financial costing and accounting/reporting processes used at the plant, ensuring the plant leadership team understands the impact of operating performance on financial results, and driving a culture of continually improving both operating performance and financial processes while building and maintaining strong relationships with the plant leadership team. The Plant Controller has the responsibility to influence strategic and tactical decisions for the site and Purchasing organization, as well as advise, assist and influence senior management on significant financial decisions outside of this scope. Responsibilities:

Refine and maintain key performance indicators closely linked with financial results

Own all plant accounting activities, including material, labor, scrap and plant overhead. Develop and/or

maintain key reporting tools to ensure accuracy and identify key drivers of results.

Oversee the budgeting and other key FP&A processes for the plant and Purchasing; maintain and

improve grounds-up cost models which drive both accurate forecasting and performance measurement

Analyze capital spending projects within overall Supply Chain; support cost/benefit analysis by

Provide ad-hoc analysis as necessary enabling team to understand expected financial impact of

Own the annual standard cost update process

Key Qualifications:

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records including: advanced preparation

of cash analysis/assisting in cash forecasting, preparing and entering journal entries, bank and general ledger

account reconciliations and preparation and analysis of the financial statements, as well as, assisting in the

completion of the quarterly and year-end financial audits, and review of monthly P&L variance analysis as

given. Under limited supervision, the Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the General

Accounting Manager with the normal day to day accounting functions for the Department. Responsible for

preparing the daily cash analysis and weekly cash forecasting model for the Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities:

Prepares enters and determines assigned journal entries as well as miscellaneous accrual and adjustment

journal entries within the 4 day period end closing timeline for the Accounting Dept.

Reconciles monthly bank accounts to the general ledger including Yankee Candle’s master

concentration account and resolves any discrepancies with the banking institution as well as notifies the

appropriate internal personnel of any issues.

Acts as an accounting contact for an assigned department(s) by supporting the departmental

management team by providing analyses, guidance as well as processing of all adjustments and

accruals for the period end P&L financial statements

Analyze assigned general ledger accounts and prepare monthly reconciliation schedules with detailed

accuracy for review by Manager

Journalize, reconcile and balance intercompany reporting within the corporate consolidation system

Qualifications:
