Selection Process Stage-1: EligibilityEligibility based shortlisting of entities:

● Evaluate the entities who have shown interest to participate in the DYCE Challenge based on the eligibility criteria setup.

● Entities to submit the following

○ Executive summary

○ Experience profile

○ Solution concept Presentation

○ Video/ elevator pitch/ YouTube link

● Shortlist the entities with relevant experience and capabilities for the next round/ step of the challenge, which is to demonstrate the solution/ app.

Selection Process Stage-2: Prototype demo

Detailed evaluation of the shortlisted entities :

● Shortlisted entities have to demonstrate the solution and prototype in either a ‘Live’ environment or a simulated one.

● Support that challenge organizer will provide

○ For the prototype demo stage no support would be provided

Scope of the Demo & PPT for shortlisted entities for Stage-2● Showcase similar experience or solutions already built for any other use cases.● Showcase the design fundamentals of the proposed solution● Demonstrate an App (and/ or) an SDK with a ‘Selfie’ based enrolment for a one time validation in a

‘live’ or a simulated environment for the following:

○ AADHAAR or

○ Driving License or

○ e-Passport / Passport

● Secure sharing of data with stakeholders

○ Showcase the capabilities for data sharing with Airports, Airlines and other Regulatory agencies

○ Showcase a Conceptual architecture and solution design

Stage-3: Evaluation ● Eligible entity(s) will be considered for evaluation. The evaluation will be based on the criteria and

scope explained for scope-2

○ PPT of the proposed solution

○ Detailed Solution document presentation

○ Demo of the prototype

● Support that challenge organizer will provide

○ For this stage too, no support would be provided

○ Any support needded specifically, may be inquired with the evaluation team and will be considered favorably based on the need and the merits.

Stage-4 : Selection Process, build the MVP● Up to 3 entity(s) from Stage 2 evaluation will be selected to participate in the MVP development.

○ Based on the evaluation process, the technical evaluation team decision on this shall be final and binding on all participants.

● MVP consists of App for enrolment, data sharing, security, SDKs for Data receiver, Block chain based security for data access

Stage-5 : Deploy and Operate the MVP

● The solution of one of the finalists would be deployed at three airports AAI, BIAL & DIAL/ GHIAL and airlines and regulatory stakeholders

● The duration for the O&M will be for a period of 3 months.

Stage-6 : Scale –up & O&M of the DYCE solution● Following the MVP rollout, a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be floated by the Digi Yatra

Foundation for Scale up and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the DYCE platform for a further period of seven years.

● The present Challenge is restricted to only developing an MVP. The Digi Yatra Foundation will take a view on the process to be followed for scaling up the MVP. During this process Digi Yatra Foundation may decide to give preference to the selected solution. The form and nature of this preference will be decided at the later stage

Technical requirements● PWA/ React Native App or similar, SDK for other apps’ integration● Self service based enrolment with integration to AADHAAR, Driving License, e-passport for a one time

validation and creation of Digital Travel Credential● Uploading of Travel data with a boarding pass scan● Uploading of the Health Certificate with integration to the health certificate provider/s.● Self service based sharing of ID & Travel Credential directly by passenger to the concerned

stakeholders (Airports, airlines or regulatory agencies)● Aligned to IATA Travel pass for international interoperability● Facial recognition algorithm to be NIST top-5 in tier-1 or similar● Secure mechanism to share data and also using shared public on blockchain● Solution to be built using a containerized architecture and should portable/ can be hosted on any

cloud platform● W3C standards and DID protocols, self sovereign identity etc. to be followed
