“Developing Multi-Platform e-Learning with Adobe Captivate??”
Define Your Terms!Development: The hands-on building of the e-learning course. Different than Design, Implementation, and Evaluation (think ADDIE). Includes components like text, audio, video, images, animation/motion, downloads (e.g. pdfs), etc.
Define Your Terms!Multi-Platform: The ability for a single course/module to be accessed effectively on different devices. This typically includes PC/Mac computers, tablets, and Smartphones. Responsive design is the ability for module to “know” what it device is being used and respond accordingly.
Define Your Terms!e-Learning: Really?? At e-Corn?? Ok…Any type of learning event that is transmitted either synchronously or asynchronously through an electronic device. E.g. MOOC, YouTube, Khan Academy, DuoLingo, online college course, etc.
