What’s it like up there? What’s the buzz?I can’t see you, can you see us?

Dear Ced,

about a year went by since you were goneand I still wonder why, sometimes

it was like a lightning flashing on a sunny day

Our friend Marc on the line and soon tears on my face

from Vegas to Paris a never-ending flighta long ride to see you one last time

trying not to think but strong pain in my heartit’s non sense my friend, won’t be ever the same

My life has so changed after that very daya missing date of that month of july

there’s always time for one last thought to share at the end of the day when resting I dare

so much we shared withloud silences, discreet cheers, all sorts of eventsfrom hot sunny o.c. to rainy summer camps

had the same joy, the same joy to livenoble heart, royal blood, funny jokes to give

starting again our movable feastliving our dreams, or trying at leastat the commons or at the parks

drinking life from champagne cups

and Paris did know, as did Oslo and did Prague, the same as did Bremen, Dubrovnik and Milan 

friendship will last, will always pull thruno matter how far you ended up to

that summer we spent camping out eastenjoying the food, wine and companywill always lay down as a dear sweet memory

will carry it with me until we eventually meet

Brilliant colors and nice air to breathewith your popeye walk and no more rain underneath

surfing white clouds and peeking thru the only big sky deeper then blue
