to stop HJR-6, the proposed state constitutional ban of same-sex marriage. LifeJourney Church will be working with Indiana Equality on the campaign in an effort to maximize our impact. IE is bringing into the state 6-8 people as Field Organizers to help make the campaign a success. If you have some space in your home and would like to offer that space for part or all of the time the Field Organizers will be present, please complete the form below and we will connect you to IE for more information. Is South Sudan Calling to You?There will be an interest meeting August 11, after the 11:00 am

service, about the South Sudan Learning Tour that will take place February 9-23, 2014. Since 2006, we have provided support to many people in South Sudan:

z Funding for Girl’s Education in the villages of Naruse and Nimule.

z Reforestation projects. z A water well. z Sewing co-ops that help women make a living to take care of

their families. We work through our partner, New Community Project (NCP).

This will be our fourth trip to the area since 2008. This trip will pro-vide an opportunity for you to connect with the communities and people we support and learn about their politics and culture, pov-erty, resilience, faith and incredible hospitality. The cost is $1400, plus airfare to and from Uganda. The LifeJourney Missions budget includes some money to help with the cost. (For an additional fee, you may opt to enjoy a two-day post-trip visit to Uganda’s Murchi-son Falls National Park to see giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions and more.)
