Simple PresentWe use the simple present to describe repeated actions or habits.

Verb endingsWhen using the pronouns he, she, it you

need to add “s” to the verb.

We add –es to verbs that end in sh, ch, x, or o: waches, goes.

If a verb finishes in a consonant + y, we change the y to i and add –es: try tries.
