Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival

Have you enjoyed the 2012 Curacao North Sea Jazz

Festival? We know we have! And we have a hunch, the

many world famous artist did so too. An approximate

10.000 visitors danced and sang to the music of Marc

Anthony, Maná, Carlos Santana, Ruben Blades and

countless other top performers until their legs and

throat could bear no more. We are looking forward to

next year already.

Open House Blue Bay Real Estate

Lots of excited visitors stopped by our Real Estate Open

House, last August 25th & 26th. They enjoyed touring

around the resort and checking out the various lots,

villas and apartments available. Representatives of Blue

Bay Hotel, Blue Bay Services, Blue Bay Golf and Blue Bay

Owners Assocations were present to provide potential

new residents with all information they needed.

Little League Curacao ensures another year of Little

League Baseball World Series

Curacao’s Pariba Little League Team competed in the

66th annual Little League Baseball World Series, that

took place last August 16th to 26th in South Williamsport,

Pennsylvania. By winning the six games in the Caribbean

Region Tournament, the team successfully earned their

spot in the Little League Baseball World Series of 2012.

Tour operators, travel agents, cruise executives, and suppliers

are looking forward to the annual FCCA Cruise Conference

& Trade Show. The FCCA is a not-for-profit trade organiza-

tion composed of 14 member cruise lines operating more

than 100 vessels in Floridian, Caribbean and Latin American

waters. This major industry event, that attracts an approxi-

mate of 1.200 professionals, will take place in our lovely

island of Curacao, this coming October 1-5. Various locations

compete to host the Cruise Conference and our island has

been lucky to be selected. Hundreds of professional in the

tourism industry will get to know our lovely little island this

way and hopefully spread the word.

Cruise the Caribbean, Board in Curaçao

Curaçao hosts 2012 FCCA Cruise Conference

As of the year of 2013, both tourists and residents will be

able to start their cruise vacation in Curaçao. Pullmantur

Cruises, a sister company of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, will

be operating the cruise boat, that will be located in Curaçao

permanently. Operations are expected to get started around

the month of April.

From its home base Curaçao, the Monarch Of The Seas

will offer 7-night Southern Caribbean itineraries to ports in

Venezuela, Panama, Colombia and Aruba.

This decision wraps up two months of negotiations between

the cruise line and the Minister of Tourism.
