Starting October 28th, Sunquest in cooperation with Westjet

will connect Toronto Pearson International Airport and

Curaçao on a weekly basis. Direct flights depart and arrive

every Sunday, year around, and take an approximate five

hours. In order to celebrate this milestone, a Curaçao themed

coach line, featuring Curaçao’s scenic “Handelskade” in

downtown Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage City, will

drive back and forth between downtown Toronto and Toronto

Pearson International Airport on a daily basis. Residents of

Toronto and vicinity will now be able to visit Curaçao both for

a well deserved winter break but also in summer and spring.

Are you living in the Toronto area? Visit sunquestvacations.

ca today and book your winter retreat.

2013 and 2014 Edition of Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival Secured

Year Round Connection Toronto - Curaçao by Sunquest / Westjet

“Fundashon Bon Intenshon”, organiser of the event, recently

announced that The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival (CNSJF)

will get a fourth and fifth edition. The 2013 edition is planned

to take place August 30 and 31. Dates for the 2014 edition

have not yet been communicated. So far, no performing art-

ists have been named.

The festival is a success formula for tourism in Curaçao and

for our local economy.

The University of Central Florida conducted an economic

impact study and rated the visitors satisfaction with the CNSJF.

In 2012 The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival generated an

additional income of approximately 20 million dollars for

the island. The economic impact of this third edition of the

festival was 20 percent higher than in the previous year. For

more information on, visit the webpage at curacaonorth-
