WHEREAS, E:o-Safe Systems, LLC, which owns and operacesthe Eco-SafeLan~ffill isrequestingroad abandonmentat theend of BargerRoad from theBledsoepthpertyto the dead-endof pavementfor adistanceof 1,707+!-linearfeetor 1.161 in acreageof rights-of-way;and
WHEREAS,the applicantis the adjacentpropertyowneron all sidesof theportionof r-o-w asrequestedfor abandonment;and

WHEREAS, the State of Tennessee,Department of Transportation, Local ProgramsDevelopment Office has identified Bloomingdale Pike/Road from S.R.1 (Stone.Drive) LaBancrof~ChapelRoadasbeingeligible for Highway Safety Improvement Program Funds; and
WHEREAS,the Statedesiresto assistthe City of Kingsportand Sullivan County by installingvarious signs,snowplowablemarkers, reflectors, chevrons,thermoplastic white andyellow lines,guardrails, and other safety improvements on BloomingdalePike/Road; and
WHEREAS,upon installation the City of Kingsport and Sullivan County will be responsibleformaintaining said improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Sullivan County Board ofCommissionershereby approvesentering into a General Maintenance Agreementwith theState of Tennesseeand the City of Kingsport for Safety Improvements on BloomingdalePike/Road andauthorizes the County Mayor to sign any and all documentsregarding saidAgreement,
