Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• Kid’s Corner is customizable and great for giving kids their own place to play on the phone
• Logan’s Lair is the name I gave my Kid’s Corner.
• Logan is a 16-month-old little guy who knows too much about phones for his age.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• These are apps that I deemed safe for Logan to play with.
• After adding them to the Kid’s Corner, I came in and arranged them. However, once he figures it out, Logan can rearrange them as well.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• This app is Elmo Calls – shows audio and video calls for kids.• There are in-
game purchases for more messages from Elmo.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• Suppose Logan got into this area and started purchasing things…• Or at least got
this far and clicked “ok”
Windows Phone – Wallet
• His purchase fails, unless he’s figured out my PIN on my Wallet app.• Wallet keeps
track of your payment methods and allows you to require a PIN for purchases.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• Enabling Kid’s Corner is as simple as going into the system settings and then into the “kid’s corner” section.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• In this section, you can control which apps appear in Kid’s Corner from the overall system view.
Windows Phone – Kid’s Corner
• Adding an app to Kid’s Corner is as simple as holding onto the icon and then selecting the option from the menu.

available for Windows Phone and Windows 8.
• I personally run it on my Windows Phone and my Lenovo Yoga 13, a Windows 8 ultrabook.
Windows Phone – Xbox SmartGlass
• Once signed in, you can control your Xbox right from your phone or Windows 8 device.
Windows Phone – Xbox SmartGlass
• You can easily select to run one of the most recent run apps from the recent list.
Windows Phone – Xbox SmartGlass• Xbox SmartGlass
best performs when the Xbox and controlling device are on the same network.
• You may see this message if you try connecting to your Xbox over the Internet rather than locally.
Windows Phone – Xbox SmartGlass
