Stationary Power Sources

The single- or three phase computer controlledvoltage and current sources, are designed foruse in meter test systems and in laboratories.

The voltage and current sources generate apotential-free, variable alternating voltage andcurrent, which has transformer decoupling. Theoutput values are stabilized by an internalfeedback loop and an overlaid digital control loopfor amplitude, phase angle and distortion factor.Harmonics and ripple control can be added to thefundamental wave. Several stationary powersources are available:

three-phase, computer controlledvoltage and current source with 300 or 600 VAoutput power

single-phase, computer controlledvoltage and current source with 800 VA(voltage) and 1200 VA (current) output power

HYDROCAL 1001 Composite Gas-in-OilSensor

The HYDROCAL 1001 is a permanently-installed composite gas-in-oil sensor for theanalysis of six dissolved key fault gases (TDCG= otal issolved ombustible ases) such ashydrogen (H ), carbon monoxide (CO),

methane (CH ), acethylene (C H ), ethylene

(C H ), and ethane (C H ).

Integration of relevant key gases into a totalweighted gas concentration enables theHYDROCAL 1001 to react to most transformerfaults. Hence, the device is an ideal, compact andcost effective tool used in particular for earlytransformer fault detection and preventativemaintenance.
