(5) Notices from the Women's Ministries Department 

1.  Are you looking for a place to advertise your product or service? Here is the opportunity. Kindlycall the Women’s Ministries Department of EJC on or before August 26, 2013 for details. 

2.  WMDs, kindly send us the names of the GEMS that your church board is sponsoring for the 4 dayretreat/ seminar for October 2013. We need to book their place in the first batch of 120 persons atthe cost that is advertized. There will be a new rate after the first 120 room spaces are filled.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to join the Singles Convention Choir whichwill take center stage during the EJC and JAMU endorsed Singles Convention during the period August 23- 25, 2013.

(7) Special Events Happening in some of our Churches

A. True Purpose Ministries Heads to Washington SDA Church Sabbath July 13, 2013 for AY: 

True Purpose Ministries is comprised of a group of dynamic young people, all passionate about helping others to

discover their divinely orchestrated purpose in life. Their message of Purpose is inspired from Jeremiah 29:11-

13, Proverbs 19:21, & Jeremiah 1:5 and seeks to promote the importance of each of us seeking after God to findHis specific plans and purposes for our respective lives.

This programme encourages youth and mature members of congregation to prayerfully ask God to show us His

Gifts and Talents so that we may use them to be a blessing and inspiration to others.

The programme format is musical in nature and usually features informative presentations from Pierre Wright

(founder), Denise ‘Antoinette’ Simpson (co-founder). This week they will be journeying to the Washington

Gardens SDA Church and they invite you to journey with them as they seek to take you on a spiritual journey.

That’s True Purpose Ministries at the Washington Gardens SDA Church on Sabbath afternoon at 4:30pm. Youcan’t afford to miss it!

B. Kencot SDA Church to host Religious Liberty Presentation on the Constitutional

Challenge to the Buggery Law in Jamaica:

The Religious Liberty Department of the Kencot SDA will present a panel discussion on the recent

constitutional challenge to the buggery law, its significance and implications at AY at 4.00pm this

Sabbath at the Kencot SDA Church. Is the constitutional challenge a matter of the right to privacy or is

the challenge an attack on the Church family? Ensure your attendance to find out the answer to this and

other prophetic issues. Bring along a friend and of course, stay until the end!

(8) Update From the Communication Department. 

Radio Programmes produced by the East Jamaica Conference doing Exceptionally Well.

The Communication Department is pleased to advise you that it currently produces two radio programmes thathave been impacting lives significantly all across the globe. They are: Healthy and Happy aired on NCU 91FM(Saturday Evenings at 6:30pm) and on Power 106FM (Sunday evenings at 5:30pm) with presenter: Pastor Jovan Whyte and Word from Heaven with presenter Pastor Enroy Ferguson aired on RJR 94FM (Tuesdays4:45am) and on (Friday Mornings on NCU 91FM at 6:15pm).

is our testimonies that will assist in changes lives all across the world. Radio is the perfect medium to allowthat to happen.
