Objectives To the students: Transmitting Europe and the European comunity to the children and

introducing the european dimension in their education. Promoting the learning of foreign languages in the students and the staff and

the designing of transverse programmings in primary school.

Encoraging activities aimed at the development of students’ respectful attitudestowards environment and the acquisition of healthy habits.

Learning about other cultures and customs, expanding their knowledge and understanding and realizing the world diversity through the project’s line of work.

To teachers: Opening new horizons through the contact with schools and staff from

other countries.

Creating common materials and activities to exchange information with all the organizations that are part of the educational comunities in all the partner countries: parents, teachers, etc.

Continuing training: training or innovation credits to the non-universitary

teachers (participating teachers) 35 hours / academic year.

To parents: Helping families to involve in the school life, having them informed about

the project , asking them opinion about its development and help in the different activities carried out for the students.

Incorporating the european dimension in families, neighborhood and comunity.

Starting up the Comenius blog, inside our school website. Knowledge and study of the participant european countries

by the students. Preparation of the welcome day “Welcome Comenius”,

for the rest of the participant countries. Communication between the students from the different

countries. Creation and maintenance of the “comenius corner”. Use of ICT and ACT.

All the project’s activities are integrated in the different

schools’ subjects, in the teaching program of the

academic year and in the educational system’s program.

Knowledge of the different participating countries in our project. Carrying out activities and power point presentations.

Use of the breakfast-lunchbox and fruit day.

Use of the breakfast-lunchbox. With the purpose of motivating the students and getting the aim of reducing waste, once a month we’ll have the breakfast-lunchbox contest.

Every class has to count how many students have brought the breakfast in the breakfast-lunchbox.

The class with the largest number of students will get an award. This will be put on the window class in order to be seen by the rest of the school’ students.

Moreover, there will be a displaying of the different classwinners along the months in the playground’s windows.

Every class has a special basket for the collecting of the breakfast-lunchboxes. The green delegate is the person in charge of the basket. He or she has to take it to the playground in the breaktime and to return it to the classroom at the end of the break.

Use of the breakfast-lunchbox and fruit day. Fruit day. Regulation of the students’ breakfast.

As a new proposal, after the celebration of the food day, the 18th of October, we’ll establish the habit of having fruit for breakfast every Tuesday.

Every class will count how many students have fruit for

breakfast. The green delegate will register it . The class with the largest number of students, will get an

award. This will be put on the classroom window in order to be seen for the rest of school’ students.

There will be also a special award to the teacher who has fruit for breakfast every Tuesday.

Everybody will be able to see the winner classes along the months in the playground’s windows.

Knowledge of the different crops in our green garden.

Expand vocabulary about the crops in different languages.

Expand vocabulary about the steps to plant, the vessels…

Activities to expand knowledge about the planted food, properties, uses, types...

Research about possible plagues, remedies… Knowledge about the composting . Creation of an herbalist.

Food of the month. These activities will be related to the green garden growings with “good results”. That is to say, we’ll work on the carrot month or the ognion one or the bean one, to study their propierties, to promote its consumption and to propose the writing of recipes, poems, pictures...

Contest of: compositions, poems, pictures, etc. With the leading food of the month.

Elaboration of a recipes’ book in class-groups or the whole school, with the leading food of the month.

The tree’s Project in the different cycles.

Every level will work on a tree. An album will be made at the end of Primary with the collecting of all the studied trees, from the fist year of preschool to the last year of Primary.

Knowledge of our nearest environment. Every level will participate in proposed actitivies or outings by the town council in connection with the environment (excursions to: the “Delta del Llobregat”, “Parc Agrari”, Composting, waste, water saving,...).
