Administration Office Hours - 8.30am - 3.30pm School commences at 8.55am—School finishes at 3.05pm

Students are not supervised before 8.30am

Principal’s Report

It has been a pleasure watching our incoming Kindergarten students as they participate in the Smooth Start Program. This finished this week with graduation ceremonies for both groups, complete with gowns and caps. Congratulations to all Smoother Starters. We look forward to seeing you in Kindergarten next year.

Schools have staff development days (SDD) each year on which we run training events. All these days are student free days. All schools receive 2 SDD at the end of Term 4 and have the option of moving these days to either the start of term 1 or to weekends. In 2020, we will move 1 of these days (Friday 18th Dec) to Monday 3rd February. Students return on Wednesday 5th Feb 2020. Please direct any enquiries re this to myself.

Thanks to all those parents who have been enquiring about the uniform shop. The school is now running the uniform shop and it is open 9.00-10.00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If how-ever you need uniform outside these hours come into the office and we can help you out. Parent helpers for the 3 days are very welcome, please call the school and ask to speak with Donna or Michelle if you would like to volunteer.

CPS Uniform Shop

The CPS Uniform Shop opening hours are:

9am—10am Monday — Wednesday — Friday

You can also fill out the uniform order form available from the front office and have your child drop it into the front office with payment: cash and

cheque only. The order will be filled and sent home with your child next time the uniform shop is open.

Reminders:

Assembly is on even weeks of the term

Merit award books must be handed in to class

teachers by students no later than 9am, Friday of non-assembly weeks

or they will be held over until the next assembly

Please label student’s clothing, lunchboxes, water bottles etc

Ernie is delighted with Nash this week! He is impressed with how Nash talks to his peers and teachers using a polite voice all the time. Nash always does as he is

asked. Well done Nash!

Ernie spotted Alora using equipment for its purpose both in the classroom and the playground. Alora encouraged her peers to put class

items back in the correct place while packing away. She was also

spotted helping other students place bibs in the correct bag after

students finished playing on the fixed equipment.

Ernie loves visiting 4/5/6D and seeing the amazing work they create. He was particularly

impressed with how well Rohan applies himself in the classroom. He always participates to the

best of his ability and makes lots of interesting contributions in
