PRAYER TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN (Never known to fail)Oh, most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine splendor of Heaven. Blessed Mother of the Son of God. Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me, herein you are my mother. Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth! I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to answer me in this necessity. There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, show me herein you are my mother. Oh, Mary con- ceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee (3x). Holy Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3x). Sweet Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3x). Holy Spirit, you who solve all problems, light all roads so that I can attain my goal, you who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all instances in my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for all things as you confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. The person must say this prayer 3 consecutive days, after 3 days the request will be granted. This prayer must be published after the favor is granted. Thank you for favor received. V. M.

Parenting Insights: Build-A-Genius! CLIFTON PARK – Join Colleen Carroll, EdD for the program Parenting Insights: Build-A-Genius! at the Clifton Park-Half-moon Public Library on Monday, July 16 from 9:30-10:30am. The importance of building leadership skills in pre-adolescents and adolescents cannot be stressed enough. Parents have some time at home to promote inner strengths, character develop-ment, self-esteem and confidence, but children often spend more time in school and at activities where these qualities are incorporated but not the focus. Learn to empower your child, and to bring out their potential for success in school, socially and in life. Registration is requested and begins July 2. (P)

Wind Down Wednesdays CLIFTON PARK – Teens entering grades 6-12 are invited to the Clifton Park- Halfmoon Public Library on Wednesday, July 11 from 3-5pm for Wind Down Wednesdays. Teens will be able to spend time with their friends, playing Wii, board games, or whatever. Laptops will be available, or bring your own. Snacks will be provided. Drop-in anytime during the two hours. Next session will take place on July 25. (P)

Arts Council Exhibition CLIFTON PARK – A Saratoga County Arts Council “Art in Public Places” Exhibition is on display in the 2nd floor Gal-lery at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, for the month of July 2012. Featured is the work of the Barbara Garro. The title of the exhibit is Beginning Explorations & Studies. “I concentrate on my explorations into a variety of mediums and surfaces, as well as studies. Studies are paired with resultant paintings: Isle of Birches and Isle of Birches II; Red Hibiscus and Red Hibiscus II; Two paintings in my Life Beyond Series: Night Sky and Planet Portrait” states Garro of her exhibit. V. M.
