CONTEST SARATOGA CO. - The 173rd Saratoga County Fair in-vites everyone to enter the Lego Contest at the fair on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. The fair runs from July 22-27, 2014. There is no entry fee with your paid admission to the fair. All entries must be labeled with your name, age and title of the piece. The age categories are four to six years old, seven to nine years old, ten to twelve years old, thirteen to fifteen years old and finally, a fam-ily category. The theme is Fun at the Fair. Cohoes Bridges will be operating under the direction of the Cohoes Senior Center, giving the program the ability to expand its services to Cohoes and the surround-ing communities. BALLSTON SPA FARMERS MARKET OPENS FOR THE SEASON

BALLSTON SPA - The Ballston Spa Farmers Market is open for the season - every Thurs-day from 3-6 pm and Saturday 9 am to Noon through October 18. The market is once again conveniently located in Wiswall Park, at the corner of Front Street and Low Street

in the Village of Ballston Spa. The market has many returning vendors and several new ones. In addition to bringing local farm produce, plants, baked goods and handcrafted goods into the Village, the market has teamed up with many organi-zations, clubs and businesses in the area this year to create fun events for the kids that will be off ered free of charge. These guys waited several weeks to transport up to the North. They finally got health certificates and are good to go after being bumped a couple of times. They are about 12 weeks old. They are vet checked, up to date on shots and good to go.

Elvis is a 3-4 year old Quaker Parrot. He talks, meows and comes to his name and more. He comes with

his own cage, carrying case and accessories. He also like to be out of his cage for about 2 hours a day. His owner found herself traveling too much with work

and felt it was better that he find a home where they could spend more time with him. He should go to an experienced, bird friendly family. If anyone is

These babies were found by one of the veterinarians down

south and he took them in. They are about 9 weeks old and have been given extra

special attention from the vet. They have had first shots, fe-

PET FEST-HOME SHOW OF CLIFTON PARKCLIFTON PARK - The calendar of events, and participants, is nearly complete for the 7th an-nual Pet Fest-Home Show of Clifton Park. Set for Saturday, September 27th,it will be held at the Shen Methodist Church, Route 146. The all
