Presentation The range of hydraulic double-acting MDR serie cylinder has been developed to meet the most demanding drive unit requirements of the industrial sector.     Para garantizar suficiente resistencia a la carga mximade los vstagos bajo ciertas condiciones de fuerza a empuje,deben comprobarse con el siguiente procedimiento:

    Establecer el tipo de fijacin y la conexin del vstagoms apropiada para la aplicacin del cilindro. Utilizandola tabla nmero 1, establecer el factor de carreracorrespondiente a las condiciones de trabajo del cilindro.

    Calcular la longitud bsica multiplicando la carrera tilpor el factor de carrera determinado anteriormente.

    Determinar la fuerza de empuje multiplicando la seccintotal del cilindro por la presin de trabajo o utilizando laTabla 2 en la pgina 9.

    En el diagrama de la Fig. 1 en la pg. 7, buscar el puntode interseccin de las coordenadas relativas de la fuerzaa empuje y la longitud bsica.

    El dimetro del vstago a elegir es el dado de la curvainmediatamente superior al punto de interseccinencontrado anteriormente.

    Los vstagos de menor dimetro que los existentes enel digrama no aseguran suficiente resistencia mecnica.

    Distanciadores

    Esto permite aumentar el brazo de palanca presente entrela gua y el pistn incrementando en consecuencia la rigidezdel vstago. El nmero de distanciadores a utilizar dependede las condiciones de carga y el tipo de fijacin, descritoen la columna derecha del diagrama de la figura 1; cadadistanciador tiene una longitud de 50 mm.Recuerde que las dimensiones del cilindro aumentan en50 mm multiplicados por el nmero de distanciadoresutilizados con respecto a los valores dados en las tablasde ayuda.Si el nmero de distanciadores requeridos cae en la zonagris, por favor consulte con el departamento tcnico parapoder disear un cilindro especfico con sus requisitos.

    Cilindros segn ISO 3320 - dim. int.40 - vstago 28 -carrera de trabajo 1200 - Charnela trasera. BC - 1distanciador (1= 50 mm). La cota A obtenida de las tablasde ayuda se debe incrementar con 50 mm debido a lapresencia de un distanciador.

    Los distanciadores impiden que el pistn golpee la cabezacuando el vstago esta totalmente extendido y garantizanla presencia de un espacio que puede variar con el nmerode dispositivos de limitacin insertados entre el pistn y lacabeza del cilindro.

  • Choice of diameter of rod

    To guarantee suficient resistance at peak loading, cylinderrods undergoing certain conditions of pushing force mustbe checked following the calculation procedure given below:

    Establish the mounting type and most suitable rodconnection to be used for the application the cylinder isto be used for. Using the table 1, establish the strokefactor corresponding to the conditions the cylinder is towork in.

    Calculate the basic length by multiplying the workingstroke by the stroke factor determined above.

    Determine the push force by multiplying the total cross-section of the cylinder by the working pressure or byusing Table 2 on page 9.

    On the diagram in Fig. 1 on page 7, find the intersectionpoint between the coordinates relating to the pushingforce and the basic length.

    The rod diameter to be chosen is the one given by thecurve immediately above the previously found intersectionpoint.

    Rods of smaller diameter than the one given by thediagram do not ensure sufficient mechanical resistance.

    Spacers

    This enables the lever arm present between the bush andpiston to be increased, thereby increasing as a consequencethe rigidity of the rod. The number of spacers to be useddepends on the loading conditions and the mounting style,set out in the right-hand column of the diagram in Fig. 1;each spacer has a length of 50 mm.Remember that the dimensions of the cylinder are increasedby 50 mm multiplied by the number of spacers used withrespect to the figures given in the support tables.If the number of spacers required falls in the grey area,please consult our Technical Department so that a morespecific cylinder can be designed to your requirements.

    Cylinder to ISO 3320 - bore.40 - rod 28 - stroke 1200 -Rear clevis mounting and standard seals. BC - 1 spacer(1= 50 mm). The cuota A obtained from the support tablesmust be increased by 50 mm to presence of one spacer.

    Spacers prevent the piston from hitting against the headwhen the rod is completely extended and guarantee thepresence of a space that can be varied by the number oflimiting devices inserted between the piston and cylinderhead.

    Theoretical velocities

    The drawing in Fig.3 represents thediagram of the regenerative hydrauliccircuit of a cylinder.This diagram finds application insystems which require high speedscombined with relatively low degreesof force: note that the ring chamberis always in communication with thepump while the total chamber isconnected alternately by means ofthe 4/2 distributor to the pump andtherefore the rod protrudes by thedifference in the areas or ondischarge and therefore the rod re-enters.

  • Al elegir un cilindro hidrulico, es necesario comprobar que en la instalacin la presin nominal de trabajo indicada paraeste tipo de cilindros, no excede la presin de trabajo nominal de 210 bar aunque las dimensiones del cilindro permitanllegar a picos mximos de funcionamiento de 250 bar para periodos cortos de tiempo.Establecida ya la carga y la presin de trabajo y despus de determinar el dimetro de vstago ms adecuado paragarantizar la resistencia a los picos de carga , el dimetro interior del cilindro se puede elegir de la tabla nmero 2 identificandola presin de trabajo y la fuerza de empuje o traccin ms prxima a la requerida.

    To select which hydraulic cylinder is the best one for a particular circuit, it must be assured the working pressure of thiscylinder is lower than the pressure of 210 bar although the cylinders sizes allow them to achieve nearby 250 bar for shortwork cycles.Once the load and also the working pressure are known and also after chosing the most suitable rods diameter to guaranteeeffective resistance at peak loads, the inner diameter bore can be chosen aided with the box below identifying the workingpressure and the closest pushing or pulling force to the one required.
