Celebrate the Children

On April 25th we honored a family who has been an integral part of the evolution of Celebrate the Children School. The dedication and leadership of Cuong Do and Lori Rickles have inspired and guided us in the expansion of our program, development of our board and organizational structure and the acquisition of our new beautiful Denville Campus. With immense respect and deep gratitude, we dedicate and name our school building the Do & Rickles Campus!

A Peak into the ClassroomDebbie’s Class

We have read about The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and made mini replica's of Tom & Huck on their raft. We seized the opportunity to dress up as Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn to act out scenes from the story. We are currently in the midst of building two large wooden rafts to place outdoors. This way, students can read/play on them as the weather gets nicer.

In light of our Super Hero theme for the upcoming Spring Concert, we researched the meaning of a Super Hero. We then created our own unique Super Hero characters on iPads, dressed one another up as Super Hero's and determined what planet, super powers etc...they were to possess.

Lastly, with the arrival of Spring we made edible bird's nests complete with a chick and baby eggs, made recreational Foosball games and practiced Prom Etiquette.

CTC Parents! Welcome to Wonderful Wednesdays!Wonderful Wednesdays are the

second Wednesday morning* of each month. Faculty and staff would be treated to an array of continental breakfast

delights and coffee. In order to do this, we need your support. This will cost about $250 a month to simply

purchase all the goods. If you would like to donate money (suggested minimum of $50 per family once or twice a

school year) or food items, please contact Carole McBride (Jordan and Isaiah’s mom) at 908-798-0094 or at

[email protected] or [email protected] as soon as possible. Every bit of help goes a long way…It is so important to show our CTC folks that parents appreciate their

efforts. And breakfast is a simple way. Thanks,The Wonderful Wednesday Committee* Third Wednesday if school holiday or the

second Thursday or Friday morning if weather delay or closing. Please note this is not a PTO effort.
