Signs can help with patients who struggle with: ◦Alzheimer's ◦Hearing Loss◦Stroke◦Parkinson’s Disease◦Speech Impairments
Patients often left in the dark when communication can not occur.
◦"I use signs with the staff and it helps a lot with them understanding my likes and dislikes. After teaching the staff a few signs I was able to sign "hot" to say I was too hot, so they could take off layers of blankets or sheets.”

Sign Language can help with:-reporting how the patient is feeling.-HOT -COLD-SICK
-explain where the patient is feeling pain. -HURT
