RABBIT-ah Brooks and her husband among six

arrested by phone hacking police. The investigation stems from widespread wrongdoing at

Rupert Murdoch's now-closed Hack of the World.

The victims have ranged from celebrities and major

politicians to the families of crime victims.

Our Daves carrot and stick diplomacy doesnt

appear be having much affect in the US.David Cameron described Mr Brooks as a "good friendfor over 30 years", which led to him digging a bighole for himself just prior to hisWhite Hutch pressconference in the Rose Garden.

Did the MOON sink the Titanic 100 years ago?The iceberg that sank the Titanic on 15 April 1912 wassent on its deadly path by the closest approach of the

moon to the Earth in 1,400 years, say astronomers. Aonce-in-a-lifetime lunar event created an super-high

tide on January 12, 1912 - setting loose a deadly fleetof icebergs, three months before Titanic sank on April14, 1912 with the loss of approximately 1,500 lives.

The elderly man can't stop laughing since

hip operation two years ago... but his wife

doesn't find it very funny. According toHuug Bosse's wife, her husband now spends

thing and it all started when he had a hip

    replaced under anaesthesia in 2010.

HE FEBRUARY LUNCH was hosted by Mike Carn,

as I was absent in London and Manchester on

family matters. It was a welcome return, and

Marti ten Sijthoff gave an intriguing address concerning

debate and dialogue. John R wrote an interesting report

of this which you can read on the CADS website.

    British Ambassador H.E. Paul Arkwright

of, and participation in, the CADS Olympic Mile, which will be

held on Friday March 23rd at 1500hrs. If you havent yet signed

up to run or sponsor, please consider that.

We have 12 runners signed up, and over 1,200 Euros of

Heroes, and some further news from Martiten Sijthoff.

    So overall a busy agenda

On the wider front, the Leveson inquiry has continued to cast

light on the dirty business practices of News International.

Two dozen more arrests have now netted the unspeakable

Rebekah Wade and her husband, together with reporters, another

policeman, a MoD official, and a serving army officer. More senior

policemen have yet to fall, and it remains to be seen whether some

senior civil servants and politicians will suffer the same fate.

Quote from Sue Akers, the no-nonsense senior Met officer re-

    sponsible for the investigation:

Payments by journalists to public officials have been identi-fied in the following categories: Police; Military; Health; Gov-

ernment; Prison and others. The evidence suggests that such

payments were being made to public officials across all areas

of public life. The current assessment of the evidence is that

it reveals a network of corrupted officials. As the investi-

gation progresses it is anticipated that detailed enquiry will iden-

tify the corrupt public officials and they will be arrested.
