Rachel Siegel: In Memoriam On Friday evening, December 12th,

following the Sabbath Services, the Nameplate of Rachel Siegel on our Memorial Tablet will be dedicated in the presence of her family and friends. Rachel Siegel in her lifetime was a de­vout congregant of Rodeph Sholom, interested not alone in religious but communal activities as well. Her sons have been active members of our Tem­ple throughout their lifetime and we are grateful to them for thus perpet­uating the hallowed memory of their Mother in our Sanctuary.

Youth Division "Home Are the Hunted", a film

narrated by Ralph Bellamy and depict­ing the lives of the displaced persons of Europe will be presented on De­cember 14th to the Post Graduate Society at their regular Sunday morn­ing meeting.

Mr. Leonard Spring, President of the National Federation of Temple Youth will , address the Rudolph Grossman Society on Sunday, Decem­ber 14th.

The Aaron Wise Society, for young people of college age, has sent out a letter t.o parents requesting the col­lege addresses of their sons and daughters so that they can be invited directly to the special functions plan­ned for them during their holiday vacation. Those parents who have not received letters are urged to send these addresses immediately to the Aaron Wise Society, care of the Temple.

Sisterhood Notes The Afternoon of Games held last

Monday was very successful and a large quantiry of supplies for the S.O.S. were collected. We are continuing this collection of clothing, foods and medi­cal supplies and we urge our members, our Congregants and their friends to bring these articles to the Temple every time they come to meetmgs or services.

Men's Association At the next meeting of the Men's

Association the membership will be privileged to hear Mr. Irving E. Cohen, a congregant of our Temple, who will speak on the subject: "Reclaiming our Criminals," Mr. C )ben is a social work·' er of many years experience, fJrmerly with the Jewish B0ard of Gua:dians, and now with the Parole Board.

His experience with the families of prison inmates and the rehabilitation of prisoners extends back over many years. There will be a short business ' meeting preceding the address and a social hour wiII follow. T4is meeting is open to members only.
