Big Horn Contest Rules Got some horns you're proud of? Rifle or bow, lets get 'em scored and you might win a Sportsman's Warehouse gift card! And you get free admission into the show with your horns!!! Idaho Deer Alliance will be scoring all horns taken by rifle. Entry cutoff is 6pm Saturday. Nampa Bow Chiefs will be scoring all horns taken by bow. Entry cutoff is 9pm Saturday. All entries must be a legally harvested Idaho big game animal from the previous hunting season ending December 31st. Antlers MUST be attached to the skull plate. Antlers can be mounted, but skull or antler reproductions will not be accepted. Scoring is based on Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young scoring systems. The Idaho Sportsman Show Big Horn Contests will base winners on overall gross scores, not net scores. Nets are for fish! Winners are based on highest overall percentage for each category. IMPORTANT: The Idaho Sportsman Show Big Horn Contests are for FUN only! Scores are not official. In case of ties, re-scoring may be done and may differ from initial score. EVEN MORE IMPORTANT: Scorers are volunteers. Please be respectful to them and their efforts. All entries are required to remain at the contest areas to be displayed through the end of the show. Entries to be picked up between 3:30-4:30 on Sunday. In order to pick up proof of ownership in the form of the ticket/receipt received upon entry is required. No exceptions! Though not required, it is recommended to have your tag with your entry. The Idaho Deer Alliance and the Nampa Bow Chiefs reserve the right to refuse entry to the Idaho Sportsman Show Contests for any reason.
