Bienvenidos a la clase de espanol.
Hola, buenos días!
You will often be asked to work with a partner in class.
With so many students in class and if each student spoke in a normal voice, it would be very loud.When you speak with a partner, sit close enough so that only your partner can hear you. You might have to sit elbow to elbow or you may face each other but you will also need to lean in towards each other. We will practice with the next activity.
Objective: Learn how to move quickly to get handouts and work out loud to with a partner in class
When you return to your seat, move your desk closer to your partner’s so that you sit elbow to elbow.
Take turns reading the disclosure statement out loud to your partner.
Remember to lean in and speak so that only your partner can hear you.
Please pick up a disclosure statement.
Learn how to fill in the necessary information on a paper that is to be handed in.
Winner takes out a sheet of their own paper and divides it in half.
Play rock, paper, scissors with your partner.
Please divide a sheet of your own paper in half and share half with your partner.
Write your class number in the upper right hand corner size ½ inch.
You will need to write your first and last name in the right margin on the first line.

How to write the information.
Check your partner’s paper to see if it is filled out correctly.
On the half sheet of paper, answer the questions from the back of the cell phone paper. Write your responses on the paper you divided. You and your partner may write the same answers. Everyone though should have their own paper.
Objective: get to know students in the classroom and share information about yourself.
For the next activity, you will be getting out of your seats and talking with other students.
The questions will be on the screen. Each time you speak with another student,
please introduce your self by saying, “Hola, me llamo …” and give your name.
Instructions.
Be prepared to share the names and what you learned about people with the rest of the class.
Stand next to a partner so that you can both see the screen. Remember, speak so that only your partner can hear you.

Fold your paper into 8 equal squares. You may view the example on the board on
the north side of the room.
A la campana (ALC) = at the bell/class starter.
In the square write ALC 1-7 as a title and centered.
As a sub title write the word total points received.
On the bottom line of the square center the header –A la campana
