Thank you to Francisco and his crew for moving the two holly trees that were blocking the chapel sign and growing in the handicap ramp. And thank you to Marcos Cisca and his crew for limbing the live oak and magnolia tree. We can now see the parish office front door!

Due to the early bulletin deadline the offertory figures will be provided with the January 4th bul-letin. The bi-monthly offertory envelopes have arrived. Many have come back returned for wrong addresses. If you did not get envelopes this means either a bad address or you are not regis-tered. Please contact Karen via email. Thank you! ¡Gracias! Thank you for your generosity to our Parish!!! ¡Gracias por su generosidad con nuestra parroquia!
When the carols have been stilled, When the star-topped tree is taken down, When family and friends are gone home,
When we are back to our schedules The work of Christmas begins:
To welcome the refugee, To heal a broken planet,
To feed the hungry, To build bridges of trust, not walls of
fear, To share our gifts,
To seek justice and peace for all people, To bring Christ’s light to the world.
casa, Cuando volvamos a nuestros horarios

COMING SOON!
SAVE THE DATES!
Several years ago, our parish began to have spe-
cial evenings, entitled, “Amazing Grace and Din-
ner, Too”. We would meet in the parish family
center (next to our chapel) and begin a talk about
topics that touched our lives and faith. After the
talk, we would sit together and share a meal and
the pleasure of being together. There was a nomi-
nal cost for dinner. While soft drinks were provid-
ed, parishioners could bring beverages of their
choice. We are happy to continue these special
evenings with two dates set for our newest topic
about “wisdom”. Please mark your calendars for
Friday, January 24, 2020 and February 21, 2020 at
5 p.m. in the parish family center. Dinner imme-
diately follows our talk so that we can grow wise
together!!!
SHARING THE WISDOM OF TIME
Wisdom is a virtue, a gift, that has been
sought after throughout the centuries. We can
recognize it in others and sometimes even in our-
selves. We seek to be wise when we are trying to
answer new questions or when we are sorting out
the more important things of life from the lesser.
Pope Francis felt this subject was so important,
that in his prayer, he was inspired to shine a light
on this gift and the vital role that we, in later life,
can share.
In a new book entitled, Sharing the Wis-
dom of Time, over 250 letters from people cur-
rently living around the world were collected to
tell their wisdom stories. Pope Francis responds
to these letters with reflections from his own life.
We welcome you to join us for an evening
of storytelling and conversation about how we
foster the deeper understanding of wisdom in our
lives today.
