PREPARATORIA EN LAS ZONAS OCCIDENTAL, CENTRAL Y ORIENTAL DE LOS SECTORES RURAL Y URBANO DE LAS ESCUELAS DEL PLAN PILOTO DE INGLÉS 2002-2004 DEL
MINISTERIO DE EDUCACIÓN
PRESENTACIÓN DE LA PROPUESTA DE UN PROGRAMA PARA PREPARATORIA
GENERALIDADES
Este Programa que se ha diseñado como una propuesta para la Enseñanza del
Idioma Inglés en el nivel de Preparatoria de las escuelas públicas del Plan Piloto de
Inglés del MINED, esta constituido por los lineamientos que maneja el Ministerio de
Educación de El Salvador en la elaboración de los programas de Inglés de 1er ciclo
de educación primaria. Por otra parte se ha tomado en consideración la organización
curricular de los programas de estudio de educación parvularia de Español en donde
establece que el contenido tiene como fuente, la vida familiar, escolar y comunal que
conlleva como finalidad integrarlos de forma progresiva a dichos ambientes, en
consecuencia estos contenidos no cambian dentro del aprendizaje Español-Inglés y
en su ejecución se adapta al aprendizaje del idioma Inglés como segunda lengua.
Este programa puede ser modificado según la creatividad del docente para
impartir mejor su clase según sus criterios y forma de evaluar a los párvulos/as.
Las características de la Propuesta del Programa de Inglés para el Nivel de
Preparatoria se perfilan a continuación:

OBJETIVO GENERAL
Que el aprendizaje de los niños/as de parvularia sea sistemático, integral y lleve un
orden lógico, adaptado al nivel de preparatoria de las escuelas del plan piloto de
Inglés del Ministerio de Educación, para su incorporación de forma más directa en la
enseñanza aprendizaje del idioma Inglés y logren manejar las cuatro habilidades
como speaking, listening, reading, writing.
OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS
1. Que la enseñanza-aprendizaje del Idioma Inglés a través del programa le provea
a los docentes algunos métodos y técnicas que ayuden a fortalecer el aprendizaje
de los niños y niñas del nivel de preparatoria.
2. Que este programa ayude a los maestros a lograr transformaciones en el
aprendizaje del idioma Inglés en los niños y niñas de preparatoria y estén aptos
para darle continuidad a su aprendizaje en esta asignatura en los siguientes
años y lograr un mejor nivel de adquisición del Inglés como segunda lengua.
3. Que el Ministerio de Educación establezca un programa oficial de Inglés para
preparatoria, que facilite la enseñanza del idioma a los maestros y maestras en
las escuelas públicas del plan piloto de Inglés.
También la propuesta del programa de Inglés para Preparatoria se ha
diseñado tomando en cuenta cuatro unidades básicas para el desarrollo de la
Enseñanza/Aprendizaje de los niños/as. Esto comprende el vocabulario que en estas
unidades se desarrollan, es un lenguaje primario en el que los infantes aprenderán el
lenguaje básico para ingresar a ese aprendizaje y elemental en un segundo idioma y
alcanzar el conocimiento necesario para su posterior desempeño evolutivo. Es de
bien saber, que el Programa está escrito en Inglés sencillo, lo cual facilita el proceso
de Enseñanza/ Aprendizaje.
Las unidades que comprenden el programa son:
Unit I The School La Escuela
Unit II The Family La Familia
Unit III The Body El Cuerpo Humano
Unit IV The Neighborhood La Comunidad
También cada tema de las unidades tiene su fin dentro del programa de estudio en
educación Preparatoria.
UNITS
The school (La escuela). El proceso educativo empieza con esta unidad. Su
finalidad es lograr la integración progresiva de niños y niñas, al ambiente escolar y
social, fomentando la adquisición de hábitos, desarrollo de habilidades y actitudes
para lograr su autonomía e independencia personal. La adquisición del Inglés incluye
la adaptación del ambiente escolar-social, junto con el desarrollo de las 4
habilidades: Speaking, listening, reading e introducirlos un poco a writing.
The Family (La Familia). Está dirigida a fortalecer los vínculos familiares
dentro del Idioma Inglés; la comprensión de roles, la práctica de normas y hábitos, el
desarrollo de la iniciativa, cooperación e identidad cultural y la formación de actitudes
de independencia, lo que favorezcan su actuación en el medio familiar y social.
The Body (El Cuerpo). En este caso su finalidad es la de introducir al niño/a a
las partes de su cuerpo conocerlos por su nombre y hacer actividades aplicando
juegos para el desarrollo de sus habilidades motoras como los movimientos finos y
gruesos dentro del aprendizaje del idioma Inglés.
The Neighborhood (La Comunidad). Pretender la formación de valores,
actitudes y habilidades, tendientes a favorecer la integración de niños y niñas a su
grupo social.44 Adaptándolos al segundo idioma.
Las características del Programa de Inglés figuran dentro de una tabla
dividida en cinco secciones. Estas están distribuidas de la siguiente forma:
En la primera sección se describe los Objetivos
En la segunda sección los Contenidos
En la tercera figura la Metodología Sugerida
En la cuarta sección se describe los Criterios de Evaluación
En la última sección se reflejan los Ejes transversales.
Los objetivos se establecen dentro del diseño de un programa con el fin de
lograr metas a corto, mediano y largo plazo; para que los niños logren escuchar,
hablar y comprender y escribir de manera practica el idioma Inglés. Se enuncian
objetivos como el siguiente:
Un ejemplo para enunciar un objetivo sería:
Identificar y pronunciar algunos objetos del salón de clase
Ej El estudiante será capaz de reconocer y pronunciar días de la semana y
nombre de los juguetes.
Los contenidos se pueden contemplar como una guía de la unidad que se ha
de enseñar, y que establece todo lo relacionado a su procedimiento, en donde el
docente se apoya para organizar su clase. Esta parte del programa está compuesta
de las siguientes características

En la tercera figura que corresponde a la metodología y técnicas
sugeridas presenta una serie de actividades que servirán como apoyos didácticos
que ayudarán al docente para dar la clase de Inglés de una forma práctica y atractiva
para los niños. Algunos ejemplos de apoyos didácticos serían:

Dentro de los criterios de evaluación se consideran los aspectos de aprendizaje
que el profesor considera necesarios que el niño aprenda, y a través de este
aprendizaje sea capaz de dar continuidad a sus estudios. También se dice que la
evaluación debe ser un proceso permanente, dirigido a los niños, niñas y a cada
elemento del programa.
Los ejes transversales se presentan en el desarrollo de las actividades de
cada una de las unidades del aprendizaje en forma integrada.
Algunos ejemplos que se consideran dentro de los ejes transversales son:
- Igualdad de géneros dentro de la educación
- Respeto y solidaridad
El Material Didáctico
Es de mucha importancia el tomar en cuenta que en la enseñanza del idioma
Inglés a nivel de preparatoria, el docente debe de estar preparado a utilizar todos
aquellos recursos que ayuden a perfeccionar el aprendizaje al niño/a, haciendo uso
de lo que conocemos como material didáctico, se dice que son todos aquellos
auxiliares o medios de tipo material que permiten poner en juego todos los sentidos
del participante, lo que favorece el logro del aprendizaje.
Los materiales didácticos conocidos también como auxiliares didácticos o
medios de enseñanza son aquellos los cuales se usan para enseñar.
Es necesario que intervengan el mayor número de sentidos para que la
enseñanza del Inglés sea efectiva. Se habla también de que al respecto han hecho
algunas investigaciones para determinar en que grado cada sentido monopoliza o
estimula la atención.
El resultado de algunas de ellas demostró que cuando se emplean a la vez los
sentidos de la vista y del oído, la atención se logra en un alto porcentaje. El material
didáctico es en la enseñanza, el nexo entre las palabras y la realidad. Se explica que
lo ideal sería que todo aprendizaje se llevase a cabo dentro de una situación real de
vida. No siendo esto posible, el material didáctico debe sustituir a la realidad
representándolo de la mejor forma posible. Para esto exige una gran variedad de
auxiliares didácticos que van desde materiales sencillos elaborados por el docente
como los carteles, hasta los productos de la técnica más avanzada, como el cine o la
televisión y computadoras y programas.
Clasificación del Material Didáctico
Primeramente para hacer uso del material didáctico hay que tomar en cuenta
que cuando se elige debe estar de acorde con el tipo de clase que se les va a
impartir a los niños en dicho caso, preparatoria.
Hay muchas clasificaciones del material didáctico; entre otras, las que más
parece convenir indistintamente a cualquier disciplina es la siguiente:
A) Material Permanente de Trabajo: Pizarrón, yeso, plumón, pizarra,
computadora, proyector de cañón, borrador, cuadernos, reglas, franelógrafos,
proyectores, rotafolios, etc.
B) Material Informativo: mapas, libros, manuales, diccionarios, enciclopedias,
revistas, periódicos, discos, ficheros, modelos, sitios Internet, etc.
C) Material Ilustrativo Visual o Audiovisual: Esquemas, cuadros sinópticos,
dibujos, carteles, grabados, retratos, cuadros cronológicos, discos,
grabadoras, proyectores, retroproyectores, conos y gráficos de Internet, etc.
D) Material experimental: Aparatos y materiales variados para la realización de
experimentos en general.
Finalidades del Material Didáctico
- Aproximar al alumno a la realidad de lo que se quiere enseñar, ofreciéndole
una noción más exacta de los hechos o fenómenos estudiados.
- Motivar la sesión
- Concretar e ilustrar lo que se está exponiendo verbalmente. Importancia Psicopedagógica del Material Didáctico El material didáctico tiene su base de sustentación en los mecanismos
psicológicos que se ponen en juego en el proceso de aprendizaje de manera peculiar
en las sensopercepciones.
Aristóteles afirmó: “No hay nada en la mente que no pase a través de los
sentidos”. Posteriormente Leonardo Da Vinci, escribió: “Todo nuestro conocimiento
tiene su origen en las percepciones”.
La sensación se considera como el correlato experimentado de la estimulación
del receptor, estructura anatómica sensible a los estímulos físicos. La sensación es
un acontecimiento interno separado de los objetivos externos: que depende del
nervio sensitivo estimulado y no del estimulo.
La percepción se define como la interpretación significativa de las
sensaciones, representadas de los objetos externos, es el conocimiento aparente de
lo que está ahí afuera. Las percepciones son las únicas representaciones internas
de los objetos externos, es decir, la reflexión de la materia en la mente.
La sensación se refiere a la recepción de información a través de los órganos
de los sentidos, los cuales en ese momento son receptores. La percepción es el
fenómeno psíquico consecuente con la sensación recibida por los órganos de los
sentidos y se registra conscientemente.
Como algunas representaciones internas dependen de varias sensaciones, se
considera que en la medida en que interviene durante el proceso de enseñanza-
aprendizaje, el mayor número de vías sensoriales, las experiencias son más
profundas y el aprendizaje más efectivo; esto es, según sea el número de los
sentidos estimulados y el material didáctico así como la situación vital en que se
utilice serán las impresiones que produzcan, la eficiencia de la comunicación y la
asimilación de los capacitados.
La importancia del material didáctico se pone de manifiesto, al ubicarse dentro
de la planificación sistemática de la enseñanza; es decir, en íntima relación con los
objetivos de la educación, de la metodología, de las actividades a realizar y de los
sistemas evaluados.45
