Step 1

1) Get Supplies Ready – Solution bags and Cassette Set. Inspect these products and setup. 2) Turn on Cycler. 3) Enter the Following information into Cycler:
a. WEIGHT in pounds (lbs). Press Enter button to change weight. Scroll up and down Arrow Keys to change weight. Press Enter button again to Save information.

b. BLOOD PRESSURE. Press Down Arrow Key. Press Enter button to input Blood Pressure. Scroll up and down Arrow Keys to change blood pressure. Press Enter button again to Save information.

c. NIGHT CONC.1 – Solution Bag 1 – Heater Bag. Press Down Arrow Key. Press Enter button to select solution dextrose percentage. Scroll up and down Arrow Keys to change solution percentage. Press Enter button again to Save information.

d. NIGHT CONC. 2 – Solution Bag 2. Press Down Arrow Key. Press Enter button to select dextrose percentage. Scroll up and down Arrow Keys to change solution percentage. Press Enter button again to Save information.
4) Once the information has been entered, Press Stop button. 5) Optional: To change I-Drain information, Go to Make Adjustments section by scrolling up or down. 6) Press Go button.

7) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen à LOAD THE SET.
a. Remove Cassette Set from package. b. Close all Clamps. c. Open Cassette Deck door in Cycler and load cassette. d. Place the organizer.

8) Press Go button.

9) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: Self Testing.
10) Connect Drain Line into Toilet.

11) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: CONNECT BAGS AND OPEN THE CLAMPS.

a. Put facemask on and wash hands. b. Connect Red Clamp Wire into Solution Bag 1 – Heater Bag (Concentration 1).
i. Pull safety cap and connect. ii. Break the Frangible.
iii. Open Red Clamp. c. Connect White Clamp Wire into Solution Bag 2 (Concentration 2).
i. Pull safety cap and connect.

ii. Break the Frangible. iii. Open White Clamp.
d. Open White clamp on Patient Line. 12) Press Go button. 13) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: PRIMING.

1) Priming Complete. Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: CONNECT YOURSELF and CHECK PATIENT LINE.

2) Put Facemask on and wash hands. 3) Clean Transfer Set and connect Patient Line.

4) Press Go button. 5) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: VERIFY INITIAL DRAIN. 6) Press Go button. 7) Cycler will perform Initial Drain.
8) Cycler will then perform Fill, Dwell and Drain. The process might be repeated a few times for the entire
night. Please check manual for help with error messages.

1) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: END OF THERAPY.

2) Press Down Arrow Key. Scroll using UP and DOWN Arrow Keys on Cycler and record the following information.
a. I-DRAIN VOL:

b. TOTAL UF: Press Down Arrow Key.

c. AVG DWELL TIME: Press Down Arrow Key.

d. LOST DWELL TIME: Press Down Arrow Key.

e. After recording the information, Press Down Arrow Key to select MANUAL DRAIN. Press ENTER button.
3) Cycler will perform Manual Drain. 4) Once Manual Drain is Completed. Press Go button.

5) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: CLOSE ALL CLAMPS.
6) Press Go button.

7) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: CLOSE ALL CLAMPS and DISCONNECT YOURSELF.

8) Put Facemask on and wash hands. 9) Clean Transfer Set and disconnect Patient Line. 10) Press Go button.

11) Cycler Machine will display the following message on the screen: TURN ME OFF.
12) Turn off Machine, clean up and place all products in garbage can.
