New formula extended to 3 daysAfter the great 2009 success, Automotive Dealer Day reaches its 8th edition on 25th, 26th and 27thMay2010withimportantnewsand new objectives.

For the first time the days will be 3, with Tuesday 25thMaydedicatedtoDealerMeetingsandSynergyMeetingsorganizedwithDealer Associations, Automakers and other industry players, with the exposition floor open in the afternoon.

The 2010 program aims at integrating a strategic view with operational aspects to manage the vehicle distribution business, showcasing the many and important best practices in the industry, also from abroad.

The largest event in Europe and the second world largest event for automotive distribution playersThe 2009 edition, with almost 3,000 participants (+40%) and an

exposition floor extended to 7,000sqm, has led Automotive Dealer

Day to the first place in Europe and to the second place worldwide

forsizeandattendanceamongeventsfocusingautomotive

distribution (the world’s largest event remains the ‘Nada Convention

& Exposition’ in the USA, with approximately 9.000 participants).

After purchasing his first used car from

MajorChevrolet, Inc. In1972and then

million in sales, and was the recipient or

the 50th largest privately owned business

award in Queens, Brooklyn Staten Island

before it went public in 1998.

John Whiteman (UK)JohnWhitemanisManagingDirectorofICDP.HehasbeenleadingICDP

since July 1999, and has taken a particular interest in Block Exemption

issues, dealer groups, and franchise structure and development issues.

Prior to joining ICDP, he was Group Strategic Development Director at

Inchcape plc, where he was responsible for driving the group’s strategy

at Board level, and for guiding divisional

strategies and business development

across 33 countries. He was Inchcape’s

director on the Board of Toyota GB, and

was involved in many automotive related

projects. Among his earlier Inchcape

roles, he was Planning and Development

Director ofMannEgerton,workingwith

50 retail businesses in three countries

and an extensive leasing operation.

Andrew Tongue (UK)Andrew Tongue is a director of ICDP, and manages the programme’s

global network of researchers and projects. In May 2000, he was

appointed to the main board of ICDP.

He has over 12 years experience in

the car industry, having completed a

Doctoral study at the University of Bath

into the evolution of distribution chain

structures in the European car market,

and leads ICDP’s public policy work,

advising sponsors and other key industry

actors on developments in the legislative

environment governing the selling,

marketing and use of vehicles at the

national and pan-European levels, with the Block Exemption a current

major focus of attention.

Giambattista Biasizzo (Brazil)Giambattista Biasizzo is a Brazilian consultant of

Italian origin. For 25 year he has been

working in Fiat Automóveis with different

functions: director of quality, service,

after-sales, warranty. Since 1999 he

cooperates with many automakers as a

consultant, focusing particularly on after-

sales restructuring.
