Allura Bariatric Profiling Bed A versatile, durable bed with a safe working load of 250kg (40 stone) • Low entry (30cm) • Lifts to full nursing height (80cm) • Easy to transport and assemble • Will suit the majority of bariatric clients • Available in 90, 100 or 120cm widths The Allura Bariatric 4 section profiling bed is available in three different widths, 90cm, 100cm and 120cm wide, each with a safe working load of 250kg (40 stone). The 120cm wide version is strong enough to cope with the majority of bariatric clients, whilst at the same time is easy to assemble, transport and store. The bed can be stored vertically on its own transport kit and each component is light enough to be handled by one person. At 100cm wide, the Allura 100 is suitable for most bariatric clients, but is narrower than our standard bariatric bed. This means it fits in rooms where space is tight and easier for the carer to reach across. The Allura 90 will also cope with heavier clients having the same safe working load as the wider versions and is suitable where there is only sufficient room for a standard size bed. The Allura’s lowest platform height of 30cm makes it suitable as a low entry bed. At the same time the bed’s excellent height range makes it a perfect solution for taller care workers.
