    1. Pop bubble wrapI cannot think of a simpler pleasure in life. You did it when you were akid for fun and you can do it as an adult to relieve all kinds of tensionand stress.

    2. Pop balloons

I realize some people cant stand the sound of fingertips againsta balloon or the sound of balloons popping, but it works. Theressomething about squeezing an object until it bursts that is strangelytherapeutic.

    3. Color a pictureDig out an old coloring book and some crayons and go to it. (Youdont even have to stay inside the lines.)

    4. Draw with sidewalk chalkSame idea as the coloring book, but this way you get to enjoy thegreat outdoors. If youre lucky you might even get to strike up aconversation with a passerby.

    5. Climb a treeYou may have grown, but the trees have grown too. Once you get upthere, dont forget to take a look around. The view is magnificent.

    6. Dance in the rain

This might not work so well in the desert, but it is verytherapeutic. If you really feel like getting into it, you can go outwithout a raincoat. Dont stay out too long though, you dont wantto get sick. Hurry back in and grab a nice, steamy mug of hotcocoa.
