The Association of British Professional Conference

Organisers’ (ABPCO) Excellence Awards will return on

4 December following the success of the inaugural

event.

The Excellence Awards will once again coincide with the

Chairman’s Lunch and will be held this year at The

Brighton Centre.

There will be three categories for the awards:

“Last year’s inaugural Excellence Awards were fully

subscribed and we hope to have a similarly positive

reception in December,” says Nicole Leida, joint-chair of

ABPCO (http://www.conference-news.co.uk/2015/04

/delegate-acquisition-at-centre-of-abpco-roundtable/).

“We have listened to our members and those who

attended the event last year in an effort to celebrate and

honour those in our industry who have set the standard

for excellence. Like last year, an independent panel will

select three short-listed candidates to present their submission at the awards

lunch prior to voting among their peers.”

Award submission documents have been sent out to members.

The event is open to members (one complimentary place per member) and

non-members. Pricing information for guests can be found at

www.abpco.org/abpco-chairmans-lunch

Last year’s winners included Shocklogic (best supplier partner), UCAS (best

conference by an in-house conference organiser) and Morrow Communications

(best conference by an agency conference organiser).

fantastic partnerships that arise between suppliers, PCOs and associations in

delivering word-class conferences and events,” says Johnny Martinez,

marketing and communications manager of Shocklogic. “Winning the award in

2014 has definitely attracted new business for us and we are ready to promote

the benefits of the scheme for many more years to come.”

The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) Excellence Awards will make its return on Friday 4 December following the success

of the inaugural event.

The Excellence Awards, which will once again coincide with the Chairman’s Lunch, will be held at The Brighton Centre and will celebrate excellence in the

following categories:

· Best Industry Partnership

· Best Conference by an in-house Conference Organiser

· Best Conference by an in-house Agency Organiser

“Last year’s inaugural Excellence Awards were fully subscribed and we hope to have a similarly positive reception in December,” comments Nicole Leida, joint-chair of

ABPCO. “We have listened to our members and those who attended the event last year in an effort to celebrate and honour those in our industry who have set the standard

for excellence. Like last year, an independent panel will select three short-listed candidates to present their submission at the awards lunch prior to voting amongst their

peers.”

Award submission documents have been sent out to members already but prospective attendees are urged to register for the lunch as soon as possible. The event is open to

members (one complimentary place per member) and non-members. Further pricing information for guests can be found at www.abpco.org/abpco-chairmans-lunch

Last year’s winners included Shocklogic (best supplier partner), UCAS (best conference by an in-house conference organiser) and Morrow Communications (best

conference by an agency conference organiser).
