CONTEST DATE: October 20, 2018 / *The NPC Battle for the Eagle is an NPC National Qualifier and is open to all NPC registered athletes

Hotel is very hard to come by weekends in the fall, and only small blocks are allowed by any Hotels, therefore we have very happy to have 5 HOTELS who are
working with us this year. These Hotels are all under 13-minute drive to the venue. Please plan accordingly. Those Competitors who drive in for the day/evening to
compete and are not reserving a hotel room, we will keep the Competitors Lounge open for you between Judging and the Finals.
ELGIBILITY: All Entrants must be 2018 NPC registered athletes. You may register for the NPC at Competitor check-in on Friday
evening October 20th. Check in time; 7-9 PM. This is the only check time in offered. 2018 NPC Registration fee is $125. If you
purchase your NPC membership ahead of the event you must either bring a copy of your membership card or a proof of purchase. A
phone receipt is fine. At the show sales cannot be by credit card, purchase must be cash, money order or check payable to NPC.
ENTRY FEE: $103.31 per class entered. A total of five Class entries is the limit, you must meet the class requirements in any class
entered. Telephone or email if you need clarification that the classes you would like to compete in are multiple allowable.
*COMPETITORS WITH MULTIPLE ENTRIES Those who are double entered in classes that perform a routine at the Finals will do
their routine with the class that comes first within the Order of Events. The Competitor will need to be backstage and listen for the
announcement of the Top 5 finishers in their non-presenting class. Men if you are a multiple entrant in Bodybuilding/Classic and
Women’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Physique who cross-over, you will need to do a routine for each division. It may be the
same routine.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Online entry closes at 7 PM on Tuesday October 16th. The late entry fee will be charged to all who enter after
October 16th, no exceptions. Late Entry fee is $200.
COMPETITORS CHECK IN / AND ACCEPTING LATE REGISTRATION: Friday night Check-in will the only time offered to check in, follow
the signs to the Atrium area. Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Competitors and those wearing a back stage wrist band are allowed through
the check in process. We do not have space for families and friends and therefore we have implemented this rule, to contain traffic.
COMPETITOR MEETING: 8:00 AM Saturday October 20th in the Atrium. This is the Competitors pump/prep space. Due to space
limitations Competitors & Trainers wearing a Trainers band only may attend the meeting. Competitors wear their lanyards to enter.
PUMP ROOM ACCESS BANDS & TRAINER RULES: Anyone other than R.K. Smith Productions Event Crew who would like to access
the pump/backstage area will need to purchase a “Trainers Access Wrist Band”. The charge is $100 for each band; they will be
permanent bands and not interchangeable. *The bands allow those wearing the band to also have admission to Judging, and
entrance to Finals (No Reserved Finals seat is provided.) The access wristbands cannot be pre-purchased but must be purchased at
Competitor Check in Friday evening. Trainers may follow along with their client when the class is lead from the Lounge to the flat

floor area below the stage decking. The Stage hold Expediters cannot have Trainers interfering with their expediting job, and
Trainers must not become difficult, or they will be asked to leave the area. We would like to be able to accommodate Trainers to be
in this area as long as it does not affect the function of the event.
TRUE NOVICE CLASS GUIDELINES: True Novice Bikini, True Novice Men's Physique and True Novice Figure are classes for beginning
competitor who has never competed in an NPC Contest. Novice Classes are for those who have not placed in the Top 5 in the Open
or a won 1st in a Novice Class. There will not be an Overall conducted in the True Novice or Novice Figure, Bikini or Men’s Physique
divisions. Overalls are reserved for those NPC Qualifying classes in the Open and Masters Divisions and for Novice Men’s

NOVICE BODYBUILDING COMPETITORS must have not placed first in any NPC Open bodybuilding Class.
NATIONAL QUALIFIER: This Event is a National Qualifier, and a non-tested contest. COMPETITORS SEE NPCNEWSONLINE TO CHECK
FOR PLACINGS IN YOUR DIVISION NEEDED FOR A QUALIFICATION FOR NATIONAL SHOWS.
POSING ROUTINES: Bodybuilders & Women’s Physique & Classic will be allowed 60 seconds for their posing routine and Women’s
Fitness up to 2 minutes. Please keep your routine respectful & “family oriented”. No sexual lyrics. If you are wondering about your

GUIDELINES: All competitors will be judged & follow NPC rules, guidelines, and mandatory poses.
FINALS PRESENTATION, ROUITINES & AWARDS: All contestants will be introduced to perform a routine, pose and/or present as
they are individually introduced by the Master of Ceremonies at the Finals. Top 5’s are presented awards. All Figure and Bikini
entrants will be presented a Tiara during their onstage presentation during the Finals. There are 13 Overall Eagles to be
presented.
MEN’S PHYSIQUE, FIGURE, BIKINI PRESENTATIONS FOR THE FINALS: There is a description and drawing for your Finals presentation

TIARA’S: We are really happy to tell you that all Bikini and Figure Competitors entered in the contest will receive a Tiara presented
on stage as they begin their Finals presentation. If you are entered more than once, you will have a tiara presented for each
presentation class.
ROUTINE MUSIC: We will be accepting emailed mp3 music files for our fall show. Email your music after you have entered to:
[email protected] You may bring a CD or jump drive with your music file to Competitor Check in if you are
unable to email your file to us. Your routine music must be recorded on an audio CD’s as an mp3 file with your music being the only
recording on the CD; no other form will be accepted. The music will begin to fade at 55 seconds. You will want to confirm that we
have your music, or turn your music is as you reach the music station during the check in process. *We reserve the right to substitute
a house music recording if your music is not acceptable. Your music will be sound checked at competitor check in.

STAGE PHOTOGRAPHY will be available by Physique Photographer Mark Mason. Mark will be taking orders pre-show (see our web
link) He will also be taking orders at Competitors Check in Friday evening. No Tripods or other Professional Photographing will be
allowed. Your family may take a video clip of you while you are on stage with their cell phone. Cell phone or small cameras may be
used at this time for personal stage photographs. No one is allowed to take high resolution photographs other than appointed
photographers. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not sign up for professional photography there will be no photographs of you available to
purchase.
TICKETING INFORMATION FOR THE 2018 CHAMPIONSHIP FOLLOWS:
JUDGING SESSION: Begins at 9 AM / Doors open at 8:15 AM. General Admission at the door $30. Tickets are not sold pre-
show. You may Pre-buy your Tickets on Friday night from 7- 9:00 PM in the Lane Events Center Lobby, or at the doors before
each session. Judging is General Admission Seating. You may not save Seats. This will be enforced.
FINALS: Begin at 6 PM / Doors open at 5:15 PM. 2018 Reserved Tickets are $40 & $50, depending on location
and may be purchased online at www.rksmithproductions.com All orders are mailed within 48 hours. Unsold
Reserved Tickets will be available at the event doors, there not a discount for at the door sales. It is your advantage to
purchase early for best seats.
THERE WILL BE $30 GENERAL ADMISSION FINALS SEATING THAT WILL BE ONLY SOLD AT THE DOORS. THESE
TICKETS WILL NOT BE PRESOLD.
PRE-SALES OF RESERVED FINALS TICKETS began on July 1st and pre-sales end on Sunday October 14th at 12
noon. We will no longer able to mail out orders at that time because there is not adequate mail delivery time. Finals &
Judging Tickets will be available to purchase on Friday night October 19th from 7-10 PM in the Lane Events Lobby, and
Saturday for each session at the entrance doors. *Everyone has the same opportunity to purchase Reserved Tickets
between July 1st and October 14th. Please let your friends & family know how and where to get their tickets.
Standing Room Tickets will be offered if/ or when all Finals Reserved Tickets are gone.
*THOSE WHO PRE-PURCHASE TICKETS AND FORGET TO BRING THEIR TICKETS TO THE SHOW WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE TICKETS AGAIN TO
ENTER, NO EXCEPTIONS. WE WILL NOT ALLOW PEOPLE WHO FORGET TICKETS TO ENTER. WE MAY BE ABLE TO LOCATE YOUR SEATING LOCATION
FROM OUR SEATING CHART LISTING AND DIRECT YOU TO YOUR SEATS. WHEN YOU RETURN HOME YOU CAN MAIL BACK YOUR TICKETS FOR A
PROMPT REFUND OF THE TICKET VALUE MINUS A $10 HANDLING FEE. PLEASE DO NOT CALL US OR LEAVE PHONE MESSAGES IF YOU FIND
YOURSELF AT THE EVENT OR ON YOUR WAY TO THE EVENT WITHOUT YOUR TICKETS. THE PROTOCOL IS TO SEE THE EVENT ENTRANCE MANAGER
AT THE EVENT DOORS.
POLICY REGARDING COMPETITOR SHOW SEATING; COMPETITORS WILL NOT HAVE A RESERVED SEAT AT 6 PM FINALS
UNLESS THEY HAVE PURCHASED ONE. COMPETITORS WILL HAVE STANDING ROOM ONLY. AS THE EVENING PROCEED’S AND IF THERE
ARE SEATS REMAINING OPEN IN THE GENERAL ADMISSION AREA, COMPETITORS MAY SIT THERE. YOU MUST WEAR YOUR LAMINATED
CREDENTIALS AND SHOW IT TO THE ENTRANCE EVENT CREW FOR YOUR ENTRANCE. PLEASE BE WEARING YOUR LAMINATED
CREDENTIALS TO ENTER FREE AND AT ALL TIMES IN THE PERFORMANCE HALL. YOU MAY NOT SHARE YOUR CREDENTIALS WITH
ANYONE ELSE OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE COMPETITION.
2018 Pump Room Rules for Trainers:
1. You must wear your wristband at all times. Any tampering with the band and you will need to purchase another band.
2. Listen and follow all instruction and be respectful to the Event Expediting Staff.
3. No Trainers are allowed onto the stage. Trainers may work with their client in the DESIGNATED PUMP ROOM AREA. When the
Expediters call the Competitors into a class line up to bring to them to the stage you will be able to follow only to the flat area below
stage and as long as there is no interference. We did not allow this last year, but we will give it a try it for 2018 as long as there is no
interference with our expediting.
4. To keep consistency, everyone other than RK Smith Event Crew who would like to be backstage will need to purchase an access
band, with the exceptions listed below.
5. Exceptions to stage access are Guest Posers & one Guest Poser attendant, Guest Trophy Presenters, or any Special Award
Recipients.
