Agenda Highlights
Emerging New Augmented RealitySolutions in Aerospace Manufacturing Denis Gardin, Airbus Group
Airbus Group is leading the development anddeployment of augmented reality solutions to supporttheir activities. Denis Gardin will talk you through theirSmart Augmented Reality Tool (SART) System whichhas been deployed in production both in and outsideAirbus.
The technology allows early detection of non-conformities onassembly lines by superimposing the reality onto a 3D model. Suchearly detection helps avoid costly corrections that would usually haveto be performed later in the process. Total inspection time is reducedby 5 times compared to previous processes.
The same technology is now used to support assembly tasks byprojecting the information on the parts to be assembled or formaintenance and training purposes.

Speaking about the Toyota Production System (TPS)Stefano will discuss the logistics that offer majoropportunities which will increase your productionefficiency. He will also provide examples of how theTPS tool can be adapted in to your plants and explainhow they successfully rolled out the system to all theirEuropean plants. Stefano will also highlight Toyota’s
