10. Measure and mark the exact center of the factory grilleopening.

11. Cut out the supplied upper grille hole location templateand align teh center marks together. Use an awl or simi-lar pointed tool and mark the bumper cover at all holelocations.

12. Remove the template and drill though the marks madein the previous step..

13. Use masking tape to tape up to the centers of the slotsmade in the previous step and scuff the paint on thebumper cover. Paint the return edge of the bumpercover and anything inside the grille opening with flat orsemi-gloss black paint.

8. Install the supplied .045” x .250” double faced tape tothe back of the emblem. Peel back a small corner of thedouble faced tape backing and align the emblem backingplate over the factory emblem. Once properly aligned,peel off the double faced tape liner and press the emblemfirmly to the backing plate to set the tape.

6. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to pry off the metalpush on retainers and remove the factory emblem fromthe emblem base.

7. Once teh emblem is removed, grind the mounting pinsdown flush with the back of the emblem (not shown), sothat they do not interfere with adhering the emblem tothe supplied emblem mounting plate.



18. Remove any masking tape that could get caughtbetween the grille and the bumper cover. Align the lower mounting pins into the slots drilled in Step 12and push the upper mesh grille firmly into place.

19. Make sure that theupper mesh grille is perfectly cen-

tered in the factory grille opening, the upper corners of the grille surround should be even with the bumpercover.

20. Reinstall the push fasteners removed inStep 1.

17. Align thelower mesh grille assembly into place, thenreach through the upper grille opening to install thesupplied large black plastic washers and #8-32 ESNAhalf nuts. Tighten only until the washers no longerrotate but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Overtightening will

indent the surround at the stud locations.

16. Align the lower mesh section over the back of the lowersurround, then trim the ends from the preinstalled black cap plugs and push them down over the studs.

21. Use a .125” (1/8”) drill bit to drill through the outer holeson the top mounting plate once the grille is level andcentered.

15. Reinstall the 10mm hex bolts removed in Step 2.

14. Install the emblem assembly onto the mesh grille usingthe supplied black plastic washers, #10 lock washersand #8-32 hex nuts and completely tighten once theemblem is level and perfectly centered.
